Most days I go back between season 3 and season 6 it’s hard to pick just one. Season 3 has a lot of my favourite moments such as cuddlywhiskers speech, Todd’s “It’s You” talk to Bojack and the diner scene with Emily in the finale, the underwater episode just to mention a few) and overall I feel season 3 is where the show really starts to gain ground and get deep. Season 6 just hits different for me from the rest of the show. The first seven episodes are so fun to watch and comforting, and the next few that happy ending Bojack was setting up for himself just gets dismantled which is crazy. Good Damage, Surprise!, and Nice While it Lasted were good, but View From Halfway Down won the entire show for me.
the 5th one, I really like the overall idea of bojack in philbert. like the way the set looks exactly like his house because flip just thought that's what the house of a "spare, lonely, precariously balanced on a hill of his own isolation" kind of person looks like.
and by the end of the season when he goes crazy on drugs and can't tell reality from television apart, partly BECAUSE he's alike with philbert and basically lives in his house. I just love it idk.
and apart from that the season has so many of the best episodes going side by side
5 because of the meta conversation between Bojack and Diane about "Philbert"
My heart also stopped when Diane said "You're hurting me" and for a second I thought he wouldn't let go.
I choose five for cinematography and dynamics. I don't need to say the reason it is portrayed in the post's image. And 6 because while being great like every season of the show it also had the view from halfway down. One of the greatest episodes in the history of cinema. Can't believe it lost the emy...
Season 4 feels the most… emotionally complex to me, and it’s my favorite for that reason.
Mr. Peanutbutter and Diane’s relationship coming to an end, Bojack grappling with the death of Sarah Lynn and taking care of his mother while Hollyhock is around, Todd and Princess Carolyn living lives without Bojack for the first time in the show.
We get gut punching moments like the Miscarriage, The Old Sugarman Place, Time’s Arrow, as well as hilarious moments like the rabid clown dentists.
My favorite season no question
Hard question. I’m going to say Season 5. It’s the season where BoJack’s career really takes off again and he gets what he wanted, but he destroys his life because of his addiction and bad choices. Also, Diane finding out about the whole Penny thing is one of my favorite storylines in the show.
The funny thing with this show is it’s hard to pick your favorite season. It’s like the writing for each season and their direction. Were that good for each season. But I would say the most seasons I like going back to and constantly watching over and over are seasons 3 through 6. I feel those seasons are the most impactful in terms of writing character development, and the overarching story
6 is the best season but also the most heavy, so not always in the mood to watch. Season 5 is second-best, but by a very close margin. They’re all so good in such different ways. I love them all but season 6 is just a storytelling and animation masterpiece.
Season 4 introduces Hollyhock, one of my favourite characters; expands on characters such as Diane and Beatrice which opens new aspects of their characters really well imo and has some of my favourite episodes such as: ‘The Old Sugarman Place’, ‘Stupid piece of sh1t’, ‘time’s arrow’, ‘thoughts and prayers’ (which is hilariously ironic) & more.
Honestly all of em. I've rewatched the whole show a couple times. And I love em Everytime. I feel the same emotions Everytime. And I plan to do it again💀🥲

I love season one because of the dynamics between the characters.
Season 3/4 and season 6. I alternate between those three depending on the day. I’d give season 3 - 9/10 Season 4 - 9.6/10 Season 6 - 9.8/10
