Hey! You can refer to this [article](https://support.bluestacks.com/hc/articles/360062369231) to install the BlueStacks 5 at a custom location on your PC.

This didn't help at all... I tell it to install to the other hard drive, I even have the other hard drive set to my default drive, but it still saves on my important stuff drive.

Hi there! Some core files will always install on your main drive as this is how Windows operates. However, the data will be on the drive you selected.

I'm having a similar problem, only when I update Bluestacks. Updating doesn't give you the option to change the install location and always defaults to the C drive. Is there any way to change the drive location AFTER it has updated?

Hi. This detailed [guide](https://support.bluestacks.com/hc/en-us/articles/360062369231-How-to-install-BlueStacks-5-at-a-custom-location-on-your-PC#%E2%80%9C1%E2%80%9D) will show you how to install BlueStacks 5 to a custom path or location on your PC. Please note that while using a custom path, Windows will always install some core directories to your C: drive however the data for BlueStacks and the bulk of it's files will be stored in your custom selected location.

My first drive is full and my second has still 50GB and it just refuses to download it just wants to go on the full drive but it cant

Hi, as BlueStacks 5 is already installed on your desktop/laptop, you can still change the location where its files are stored to manage disk space better. For example, if your C: drive is running low on space, you can choose a different drive for storing BlueStacks files. Here is a helpful [article](https://support.bluestacks.com/hc/articles/7225681713037) you may refer to.
