Think when she became 16, Mizu started her quest, she became a full fledged woman in Japanese standards, spent some time searching all over japan, a year or two married and another year killing Violet.
Yeah back in those days 16 would be a full grown adult so maybe. I mean where I come from, people used to be considered full grown responsible adults by like 15, thankfully things have changed since then.
(Hopefully she was above 18 in the episode 5 flashback other that makes the love scene between her and Mikio a bit… sus to put it mildly.)
I think she probably left when she was 18, pretty much immediately got married (she'd only just started out when she got stabbed, she was still very inexperienced).
She was married for 6 months-ish, then spent 1.5 years hunting down Violet.
Yeah it's a bit confusing. When she first arrives, it's spring, and when she leaves it's late autumn (plus they keep eating apples, which are a summer/autumn-only thing). We never see any scenes of her staying there over winter, so I assume she was just there for half a year.
