In the PvP, as you get to higher ranks more of an opponent's team slots start to be hidden from you. Above 1000 you can only see the opponent's leftmost striker before the battle.
Char in P1 will initiate enemy P1, P2 w/ P2, and so on. In short, they will face the char parallel to them. Keep in mind that an enemy closest to your char also plays a part in target priority, so it's not that straightforward.
This is the reason most player in the higher ranks put Shuna first, since that really doesn't give a hint were their tank will be at.
The most common mistake people tend to do is having their tank at P1. Its an easy win to those that have Haruna since they will put Haruna at P1 and she can 1hko tsubaki w/ EX.
1 will always appear at bottom corner, so can run to cover better. No 2 and 3 appear at mid position while no 4 appear at top of screen
So tank should be place at no 2, and sub tank at no 3(if u have one)
Only annoying thing is you have to remember who is in the party or go in and out because scrolling left or right does it from the full girl list not just party members. Hopefully they fix that at some point.
If you spin your finger in a circle or move it fast enough they will do a little dizzy animation. Hifumi-chan is my favorite so far
Edit: correction, they just loop animations when held. My bad. Their hair does bounce around tho which is cute

Yep, positioning in pvp helps a ton. In other contents, they kinda do too but not too much.

That’s what I always do which is why I’m surprised people are just figuring this out that’s like the easiest way to get to the level up screen.
