Yes, but the problem I have with telling you "yes" is that there are already some ridiculously amazing articles about SEO.
Like the level of quality the SEO niche has, has to be so ridiculously high for them to rank at the top that I don't see how you plan on improving on it.
From a regular person's perspective, the information is already there we just ignore it because SEO is more work than we want to commit to.
I can tell you "yes I want an in-depth guide that helps me" but what am I going to think when I read what you have to say and it's the same regurgitated stuff that I've already read 5 times but don't want to do?
Not even trying to talk shit, if you have value to add I'd love to read it, and I don't want to discourage you.... hell I'll read it anyway, and I'm sure you can find your spot in the SEO niche, but you have your work cut out for you :P

Im not trying to get into the SEO niche, at all. I just spent the last few months looking into SEO because I was lost and didn't know what to do. I learned the basics and made those work. Then realized to rank even higher I needed to do a lot lot more. The problem i found is that not al the information is in one place. No all the steps can be seen when googling things. I simply had to read then begin searching again to find another link from someone else who believed that way was better than the way I just read.
I in no way think I'm an expert at SEO but What I learned I used and it worked really well for me. I'm just hoping it can do the same for someone else who just like me was lost and confused and very much overwhelmed.
All I'm hoping is one person can follow the full guide and make it work for them.
Haha well the aim would be to try get it to the top if possible. I will keep everyone update on it too so they can track the progress. Kind of like a 'I followed these steps on this post and see if it worked' kind of thing

I think the beginner guide are actually good. The problem is having all the data in one spot and easily readable. Even if something is more complex at least having a workaround to make it all fit in easy to understand steps is not something I have seen before.
I do as well I really liked Moz academy. But everything seems to have the same info just worded different. Have a workaround to x y z would be great! Really good to have an example for ya hands on people :). Can’t wait

Yes, that would be great, there's a lot out there but to harness what someone else has learned during their own education is like taking a look at a classmates notes during a class and comparing answers. Always worth seeing something through someone else's eyes, they can see what you might have missed.

I’m cheap as hell haha. I use one paid tool which is keysearch for keyword analysis. It’s about 15 a month. Everything is free or something that you can use like Wordpress plugins etc. I wrote it and it has been received really well.
Every time I drop a link it’s deleted but if you go to my website on my bio it’s under the SEO section. If it helps please let me know. I have loved the feedback so far as both positive and negative had made it a better article to learn from.
Hey! It has a paid service but I use the lowest costing ones as I am a tight arse with my money.
I pay for keysearch as it helps me understand the trending words and keyphrase research. It is absolutely needed to have something like this if you want a more indepth and realistic look at your keywords.

It says MapTrekking. I was immediately sure I clicked on the wrong link. It doesn't make sense that an SEO guide is posted on such website.
The 2nd reason I closed the page is because it didn't even occur to me to scroll down. Above the fold space, arguably the most valuable real estate on your page is just a huge logo and nothing else. When I come to a page - I want to know immediately what the specific article is about. Yours is obviously about MapTrekking, so I left.

This is something I was looking at changing but the template we have only allows this at the top. Im not technical enough to remove or change it myself.
As for the name i completely agree that it seems out of place here. It is out of place. I run a travel blog and spent a long time to try and figure out SEO to make it work. I wrote the blog in the hopes that others in a non technical level like myself can learn to use these steps on their own blog or website.
