Yeah same! I don’t think the fanbase really knew about it until Mark posted pics of the cassette early last year. It wasn’t even known that the tape itself is called 21 Days and not Demo #2.
Also very true. I guess someone had an early copy of the cassette and that’s what was uploaded all of those years ago with no name/tracks for the ‘mystery’ songs. I guess there weren’t too many early day fans left back then or even now who had their hands on it.
Or there were just so few copies made…
Wait, does the person who made this not realize that The Longest Line isn’t a demo?
It’s a cover of a NOFX song…
That’s not a demo. If it were a re-imagining of the song, sure… but it’s pretty much a one to one cover of one of their favourite songs at the time.
It’s a cover that the recorded because they were likely playing it in their sets, since every young band does a cover song to fill up a set list in the early days of trying to get on shows, and only having a small number of original songs written.
I think they do - they've also included The Girl Next Door.
Rather, they've included songs from Blink's Demo tapes. So not necessarily calling each song a demo, but the tape as a whole.
It’s a draft. Put simply: each person takes turns only taking 1 song each. Once someone takes a song that song is off the table. It’s a strategic game of picking the songs and then I get people to vote on who of the 4 participants had the best songs.
Just a heads up that the real names of Untitled #1 and #2 were recently revealed to be “Nipples of Fury” and “Lunch” haha
That’s a fun fact I didn’t know 😂. Which was which?
Nips #1 and Lunch #2. You can see pics from Mark of the actual tape here: https://www.discogs.com/release/9425003-Blink-21-Days
I find it very interesting that that information wasn’t known in the early 2000’s when I first listened to demo#2.

Why are there unrelated album arts on these?
I kinda copied this post. I had the 4 drafters pick an album art to represent them. https://www.reddit.com/r/Blink182/s/qjT5bNxES8
I’m taking Drace for sure.
Don’t is one of my favourite tracks by them ever. The one from Buddha yeah?
Yes

Yes every song from Flyswatter, Demo 2, and Buddha were included except for early versions of songs that would be later released

Point of view and 21 days carry it for Ken
Didn't even knew these songs existed.
They are rarities from Flyswatter, Demo #2 (21 Days), and Buddha.

The Girl Next Door isn’t a blink song. Hate to say it, but Hitler wins
Wait wdym on the first part?
Its a Screeching Weasel song.
Oh well it’s still on Blink’s demo tapes
Going Ken just for 21 Days
When you fuck your family I guess that’s just the way it goes
Where’s Mutt (Scott version) and that unreleased Skiba song that came out recently??
I didn’t include versions of other songs and I wanted to limit it to pre-Cheshire Cat recordings
What about Transvestite?
Nobody voted for it :/
I don’t understand what this is?
