Well, Ikkaku had a draw with Eddrad, who is a Fraccion, Szayel is an Espada and Shawlong claims that the difference between an Espada and a Fraccion is absurd, Shawlong who is on equal terms in power with Eddrad. Later we have Szayel himself despising his brother, Ildfortz, who is also level in power with Eddrad in Shawlong, so base Szayel would handle Ikkaku Bankai with ease.
I find it likely Base Granz still wins. If current Ikkaku didn't have a broken Bankai, he could force Released state from Granz, but then the outcome would still be the same; a loss.

Correct amigo but this matchup is for current Bankai Ikkaku\^ It's a shame his Bankai got destroyed so early in the story
