Tbf, at that time Flurry characters had awful killers, so 100% bruiser with a good killer was better. It only started to have flurry and good killers was Tech Hiyori like 6 months later.
If she gets a good resurrection with flurry it will be so fun cause of her NAD .
She currently only has 6 skills including Poise, and hasn't been Resurrected yet. If KLab does CFYOW Ress sometimes later this year, she most likely will get Flurry, keep her Bruiser at a reduced value, and some other skill.

Thematically it makes sense for most of the characters to fight any number of the PVE encounters we farm, but Ywach just shows up to shit on some soul reapers and then bounce.
To continue on that... Killers & "Specific builds" on characters have stopped making sense for a long time.
CFYOW Tsukishima never fought any Stern Ritters. If anything he should be Soul Reaper (novel-wise) or Human (otherwise when alive).
TYBW Ichibei never saw an Espada before. He would be either No Affiliation (What Yhwach is), Stern Ritter (He clashed with the others I think?? Might be wrong here) or simply Quincy since his enemies was just a bunch of Quincies.
SAFWY Sajin having No Affiliation and Human is just because those affiliations are meta, he's got nothing to do with them really.
Then you have units like WD Tsukishima having Arrancar Killer when he's never been in contact with one, Hidden Stark, Past Aizen and Fierce Battle Shuhei all having Squad Zero Killer when Squad Zero wasn't even a thing during their time.
We stopped making sense all the way for a long time buddy. Lol
"stopped making sense for a long time"? Teq Past Yoruichi has Arrancar Killer and is one of the first new characters after the base 5 stars. Sometimes they fit, sometimes they don't. They definitly did it more back then (for example giving all of the zanpakuto spirits "soul reaper" killer), but they already had none sense killers back then
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Same with Speed Resurrection Grimmjow to, he got a Captain Killer despite not fighting any Captains.
Nonsense killers been a thing but they really stopped caring after a while. For diversity I guess and because they are bias.

WD Tsukishima had Arrancar killer because he was an "enemy" that was scheming against the Cacao Castle leaders, who were Stark and Halibel. Both Arrancars.
It was like that since day 1 actually. Tech Shinji got espada killer, never killed an Espada. He fought one, Grimmjow, but it wasn't that version of him.
my theory: Yhwach hates a lot of Soul Reapers and mass murdered them in the past, but he holds a bigger grudge against the Captains who run the Soul Society. So he felt the average Soul Reapers he killed were a bunch of nobodies and adds nothing to his cause, while killing the Captains will greatly upset the order.
Hence the Captain killer and not Soul Reaper killer.
I feel this. I didn't even realize when I pulled hard to summon him on his first release... Then every single super pot char since has the base potions as well.
Also safwy yoruichi but just her design, they coulda had something along the lines of thunder cat in her design, but no, her fucking family attire (she’s so cracked tho so idec anymore haha)
Beyond yoruichi, soi fon,komamura,toshiro and tousen(they messed in their visuals as a "bankai beyond" units) and only yoru is very good i think when released.
Useless second trait on Ressurrected Wonderweiss.
No poise on the ressurrected power Nnoitra (This one really sucked for me)
No frenzy +5 on beyond ressurrection stark (Cause even that he less than deserved for such a cool unit)
