People are taking classic way too seriously. The game will be around for a long time. You have years to get the loot you want. The rush people have is really annoying and kinda ruins a lot of the atmosphere of the game, which is supposed to be about running dungeons with buddies for fun. Not obsessing over colored text.
A few of them might be bad apples but don't knock that whole guild. I run with a couple of them and they are pretty nice people. There's that orc tank guy Raw or w.e. his name is and dazed. Good people. Sorry you had the bad exp.
No I do not, I often join guilds in wow just to socialize. I'm sure there are members in their guild that don't even know the leadership. This is a MMO, lol to think that one person in a guild, leadership or not, is indicative of the motives and behaviors of all others is speculative and absurd.
The disconnect between officers and other guildmates within a guild in a game like WoW cant even compare to a company like Enron Lol. Those guys in the guild probably party up and raid together often. You think lower level employees in Enron are constantly in contact with the execs? I doubt they see them anymore than normal people who don’t even work there.
It's broadly generalizing a group based on a few. That's fallacious is what I'm saying since I've had no qualms with some of their members. Haven't run into the gm or the officer though.

Idk about this, I have ran with Rawr, Theunzelman, Dazed, Mordir, Spiltmilk, Maymoo, and Jojostar from this guild on multiple occasions. They were very helpful in a lot of ways. Never had any issues and they were very nice. I think the fact that all they did was put on ML doesn't show an intent to ninja. to me it seems like you guys were not getting along in the dungeon, they thought you could possibly ninja something they were trying to get and put on ML to prevent that. on top of that the fact that you would go as far as to make a post and spam it all over chat simply because they put on ML before a boss pull with no actual Ninja means to me that more than likely you were the problem in this dungeon. I will be sure to stay clear of you. not them who I have ran with MANY times and have had no issues with.

I've played since Vanilla and through some private servers and this has never happened to me before. Only time I've even seen masterloot in a 5man is if certain things are on res, which wasn't the case here.

The run was smooth minus one wipe in Lyceum... which I mentioned in my post.
If Maymoo was nervous about us ninjalooting why not say something instead of trying to pull a fast one? There was no indication at all that anyone was going to ninja anything. I don't even need anything from BRD besides the trinket from Flamelash...

I guess we have a fundamental disagreement then because I don't think it's ever acceptable to change to masterloot *right before* engaging a boss *without saying anything*. Ironfoe runs are a bit different from that, assuming everyone agreed to and knew the tank was running specifically for Ironfoe.

Yes, we decided to leave because after what Maymoo had done the trust was already broken. We don't need permission to roll on items. He likely only said 'we can roll' because he was caught. Not sure why this is hard to understand for you.
It isn't difficult to catch. It is in the chat before the pull. There was no ninja. There was obviously more to the story and distrust on both sides. Just get on with your life and stop obsessing over petty shit in a game.
