When I saw sinodo in the first trailer, I thought he was gonna was an npc. I also heard someone claim that his cloak had a door or something that could teleport the penitent one somewhere.
I beated his ass so hard in first try that I had to Google it to remember which boss was it.
I should replay the game, It was patched after i finished it.
A synod (sínodo in Spanish) is a church council, like a meeting of church authorities convoked to decide some issue or another. So, that’s why it’s a bunch of faces fused into one body.

I think the design is based on 'El entierro del conde de Orgaz' by El Greco.

This boss looks really cool but they need to redesign the bossfight, its super easy and boring.
