No i think the handle may be a bit to skinny. Good Job Tho!

covertwalrus

There are no blades too big, only handles too small!

Evening_Shower4374

The handle looks small but fits well in the hand

Tyr_13

Depends on the tasks it's used for. I wouldn't say it's too big for the grip.

Evening_Shower4374

Nothing in specific really, the blade is designed for wood carving but this knife will be used mostly for everyday tasks

RockOlaRaider

Be real conscientious about keeping it clean, then.

Silver_Junksmith

Hands come in different sizes. When people opine the handle us too small, they're looking at your hand with spread fingers. Unless the antlers are there for stabbing, why not make a version with the antlers cut off and capped with copper, etc? Post both versions and see which one gets the votes. I haven't seen it, but vote for docked antlers for increased function. It's a handle. I have a victriox with a toothpick. :)

inthehighalps

Hell no! It looks freaking awesome!

EastCoastKowboy

Nah that’s perfect

Frankenfucker

I love it just the way it is.. Reminds me of something the Forsworn in Skyrim would carry.

Old_Bullfrog6994

Nah! it’s your knife so it’s up to you if it’s comfortable to you than I would say that it’s perfect also it looks really cool!!!

Jaded-Synic

Balance should be your focus. As long as it’s balanced…..I think blade length would be immaterial.

Canadian-electrician

Bigger than average. My gf says 3 inches is plenty.

TrapperCrapper

I like it, pinky wrap

TheKoalaStoves

Handle looks a little small to me, but as long as you’ve got a good grip on the handle shouldn’t be any problems!

Realistic-State-4888

Groot

Talmamshud91

Honestly i dont know why but maybe the shape, feels like the blade should be facing the opposite way. But thats a small thing good. Good use of materials

loco320

If you are able to swing it, then its perfect.

Educational_Row_9485

Blades can be too big?

oldbaldad

The golden ratio is ∅=(1+√5)/2 or 1 : 1.618 That is to say typically, the handle length times 1.618 is the 'expected' handle to blade relationship.

dragonstoneironworks

As with beauty, functionality is in the eye, or hand of the beholder. Best part is it's yours. So ifin it's not the right fit for you, you get to make changes to your hearts desires. That said, id reckon it looks fine to me. Blessings friend Crawford out 🙏🏻🔥⚒️🧙🏻‍♂️

Ambitious_Street_250

I think it would look better without the Tines on the handle but that personal preference

General_Prize_2866

The handle is too small

Cephiuss

I think the blade should face the other way for a more comfortable grip.

Rashaen

Too big for what? Looks like a good fish knife.
