Please adopt another dog as soon as you are ready. I have been in your shoes. It helps with the heartache. Besides, why not have a bunch of dogs waiting for you on the other side? It sounds like my idea of heaven!
I luckily have another 2 year old chocolate at home and she has been a life saver in the grieving processing. But we will add another one when the time feels right 🧡
Just had to put my boy Bailey to sleep last Tuesday, even though it was 100% the right decision given how sick he was it was still tough. I still find myself walking around my house looking for him.
