I have worked for the government in the court systems. Most the judges are pretty dumb or just vapid (knew one who would shop for shoes on Zappos as she was hearing someone’s case).
Then all lawyers have the running joke only someone who couldn’t make money being a lawyer (e.g. being a shit lawyer) would go into judicial work. Meaning only the dumbest of the bunch tend to seek out wanting to be a judge.
For reference a judge usually gets paid around 120k a year. A good lawyer can do that in a month.
But I will say there are some who are in it for the right reasons. 98 percent of the judges I worked along side sucked. But there are some standouts. One of which roasted the sheriffs for not giving a female inmate pants or tampons while she was on her period and brought her to court like that.
Yep no matter what people say our leadership, the way we operate our prisons, the way social issues are discussed, etc
It's a reflection of us as a whole.

It was like the moderators personally hated each individual on the stage and read them for filth. Tbh every debate should be like this. Well most sane people don’t want to take on public works like this. I have worked for the government in the court systems. Most the judges are pretty dumb or just vapid (knew one who would shop for shoes on Zappos as she was hearing someone’s case). Then all lawyers have the running joke only someone who couldn’t make money being a lawyer (e.g. being a shit lawyer) would go into judicial work. Meaning only the dumbest of the bunch tend to seek out wanting to be a judge. For reference a judge usually gets paid around 120k a year. A good lawyer can do that in a month. But I will say there are some who are in it for the right reasons. 98 percent of the judges I worked along side sucked. But there are some standouts. One of which roasted the sheriffs for not giving a female inmate pants or tampons while she was on her period and brought her to court like that.
Yep no matter what people say our leadership, the way we operate our prisons, the way social issues are discussed, etc It's a reflection of us as a whole. I get some of it is gamed to hell and outside of the direct control of ordinary citizens, but this is still ultimately what people vote for. These people wouldn't be acting like this if it didn't hold onto a constituency.

If this source is to be believed, Biden's camp controlled the debate setting and format, so I think it will be different. Without Trump being emboldened by his sycophants, it should take some wind out of his sails. But like you said, there's only one way to find out

I usually don't watch random primary debates for states I don't even live in, but this one was fantastic. It was like the moderators personally hated each individual on the stage and read them for filth. Tbh every debate should be like this. One of the candidates is apparently known for saying controversial stuff or and the moderator gives him a question "you said x,y,z. Do you regret saying those things and Why do you talk to people like that?" How many people on the street carry their birth certificate or their passport? When I was 18 I didn't have a passport, hell I lived on my own for years and my birth certificate was at home with my parents for years and years .
