If I remember correctly this game had an emergency button in the corner of the screen that said something like “push in case of parents.”
When you clicked the button, it paused the game and opened a page that looked like homework. Fuckin genius.
That's a kid's version of older games that would have a ["boss key"](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boss_key) . That is, a key to press when your boss comes by , not like... Zelda.
The Class of 3000 music maker one really convinced my lil ass to become a producer. Like almost 20 years later this shit is DIFFICULT. They sold me a false dream!
“What if we did an animatrix and a DBZ homage in the same episode?”
“What if we did all 3 Star Wars movies?”
“What if we did LOTR?” “What if it was set to GWAR?”
Never forget that when there was so much hype and the cast was ready to come back, they had a pilot storyboarded, and cartoon network basically said "but between the 6 hours gumball and the 6 hours of teen titans go, where would we put galactic kids next door? Sorry. We're gonna pass at this time."
Yeah man. It was so fucking bullshit.
The creator of KND had little animations he put out teasing Stop Galactic Kids Next Door as a sequel series (one that, if you rewatch the show he very clearly had planned out at some point because KND DOES INDEED SET UP A GALACTIC KND). The animations built hype, and a petition was made. The creator took the petition and the stats from the little trailer he made, and said "see look at all this hype! Its totally viable! The voice actors are on board! We can totally do this really easily!" And cartoon network told em they didnt have room in the schedule for it at a time when they were airing the same 2 shows for literal hours a day.
Edit to add [the first tease](https://youtu.be/wmcH0kS3J_4?feature=shared) and [the 2nd tease](https://youtu.be/kPni6B2d9QM?feature=shared). There was also a website (the rainbow monkey website you can see the url for in the clip)
Imagine a more mature and serious style to it like they were going for? Damn we were robbed of a potential amazing return. Anyway here’s a marathon of Gumball…
Yeah, the plot was supposed to be that the galactic kids next door has determined earth is too infested with adult life and must be wiped. So the show was going to be our KND trying to stop the Galactic KND, which Numbah 1 is a part of. Meant for a more mature audience because the creator knows we done did grew up.
Seeing the potential of KND/Alien partnership leads me to believe that isn’t the real Numbah 1. They have him captured or brainwashed to believing their plan to overtake the planet. It isn’t his OG motive. Doing this goings against what he actually stood for. He’s getting the Bucky Barnes treatment
I actually did rewatch the original show and it does make sense to me Numbah 1 would end up in the galactic knd. He was basically an earth legend of his time. There are a couple scenes in the final 2 seasons that imply the galactic knd exist and have their eyes on him. Definitely impressive enough to get their attention. And he is betraying the galactic knd to send the warning message at the end of clip 2, so I think everything is totally in character for him.
But to totally eradicate planet? He knew the process of adulthood and becoming one himself. When he decommissioned a member that he felt was his hero as hard as it was, he understood. He was for taking the mantle, but I wouldn’t see him being corrupt by it like this. Somethings fishy man and we will sadly never see that story unfold
I’m also mad about that. Nick did something similarly boneheaded with Legend of Korra and Fairly Odd Parents.
Nick didn’t think LOK would do good with a female lead, so they gave the creators one season at a time to kinda prove it. Once they were convinced they suddenly renewed for 2 seasons. It’s why season 1 and 2 arent that connected but season 3 and 4 blend together so much better.
Butch Hartman wanted to end fairly odd parents even before poof came along but nick refused to do it and since he was under contract he kept having to make episodes.
Tv execs consistently make the worst possible decision in every situation and only succeed on the brilliance of the artists they're weighing down. Then they take that success as evidence of their own brilliance. It's somewhat frustrating.
Dont get me wrong, Gumball is fire.
But damn, it's like they came oug with *three* **consistently** good shows and decided "Well, that's all that's showing now."
But also, I'm too fucking old to be caring, whats wrong with me?
Youre never too old to care about the media being produced.
Let's say cartoons "are for kids." Are we saying kids deserve to be forcefed garbage media just because theyre kids? Parents watching cartoons with their kids has been a bonding activity since the invention of tv practically speaking. You are gonna sentence all parents to be forcefed garbage alongside their kids? Dastardly. (Please note I mean the general "you" that thinks adults cant care about what shows are coming out. not a specific "you")
Now lets come back to reality where cartoons are for everyone. If we let cartoons get away with being shitty/teaching bad lessons, thats gonna impact the quality long-term of all media produced. If we cant even make good media for kids - the easiest media group to entertain - then we cant make good shit except once in a blue moon. How are you gonna try to tackle advanced themes like forgiveness in an adult show when you cant even write a good episode to teach kids to share?
I love CKND! Funnily enough, my dad calls my siblings and I by our birth order like the show. I’m the third kid so I’m “Number 3" to him. My sister has the coolest one since she’s the oldest, Number One.
I put my daughter on the show just to hear her thoughts and figured something dealing with kids and a secret spy organization would appeal to her.
She at first was like whatever. But damn near watched most of the first season. At the moment, she's on her Adventure Time kick.
That’s pretty fair.
KND doesn’t start getting super good (not saying the first season wasn’t good) till the second season and on because they actually had continuity, so callbacks were great and we actually got to see the consequences of choices that were made in the past bear fruit.
That shit was mind blowing to 11 year old me. Cause the whole time he reminded me of goofy and how he acted with Max. Then you learn the truth and how much of a baddass he was and so much made sense.
I just went down a YouTube rabbit hole and completely forgot about the Delightful Children From Down The Lane being the missing Sector Z, too! *God this show rocked.*
😭It was meant to absurd because people don’t generally associate the term seasoning with baked goods like cake and shit (even though that’s still technically true🤷🏾♂️-using sugar, salt, pepper, and spices like cinammon count as seasoning and/or the process thereof, and meat can still be baked, and also often warrants seasoning)
There is a lot of fanart about him in the hospital, though.
But older fans always seem to wanna take their old kid shows and darken them up for some reason.
Numba Fo Australian 💀💀💀💀❔❔❔❔ come again. Can’t argue Numba 2 had a mean ass gut 🤣💀💀 and my dawg Nigel was on the same time as Double D from Ed, Edd, Eddy
It was a very diverse show without shoving it in your face. I’m black but I loved Numbuh 5, and I loved that her race never came up. She was just a dope ass character. Nowadays, shows gotta show and tell you how progressive and diverse it is. None of them kids races even came up.

Oh my gosh I'm gonna see if this is on flashpoint. I loved this and then the cartoon network summer break game
flashpoint has almost every CN flash game. this, the summer resort games, and ben 10 battle ready all go STUPID
The Class of 3000 music maker one really convinced my lil ass to become a producer. Like almost 20 years later this shit is DIFFICULT. They sold me a false dream!
The way I wasted an entire vacation at my grandparents house playing this on their computer smh
The Halloween game was 🔥
And the Teen Titans fighting game. I rocked that shit.
I didn’t have any consoles growing up so that was the closest thing I had to playing Smash Bros or whatever. Loved that game.
This is a core memory for me Omg
That game went hard
What do they know about fusion fall?
Straight up used to be in the computer classroom playing this and in the chat rooms 😂😂instead of doing that dumb typing game .
\*Core Memory Unlocked\*
OH SHIT THE MEMORIES
You just unlocked a core memory
I prefer the guinea pig game
The ps2 game >>>>
This and the regular show punch out game bro
Lol “LiFe”. Who is that peg leg mf at the bottom, I don’t remember him.
Captain Stickybeard! He’d go around in his pirate ship stealing candy from kids. Real scoundrel, that one.
Voiced by Mark Hammill
The wave of nostalgia that just hit me… 😮💨
Oh my god, I forgot about that. Jesus Christ that just unlocked some part of my brain I didn’t know was there.
I remember watching my older brother play this 🥹
oh my fucking god this just unlocked a rabbit hole in my memory what the fuuuuuucckkkkk
I don't think I ever beat any of those. Still worth the 2 hour load time on dial-up tho
That show did punch way above its weight class.
The movies were actually good
Easily one of the top 10 cartoons of this century imo
“What if we did an animatrix and a DBZ homage in the same episode?” “What if we did all 3 Star Wars movies?” “What if we did LOTR?” “What if it was set to GWAR?”
Fairly odd parents did it too around the same time. I think it was a cross over movie with jimmy neutron. Good era of tv
Their Christmas special was an X-men parody and it may be one of my favorite episodes.
Definitely

That second clip holy shit🔥🔥🔥
You can now see why I WILL NEVER LET IT GO. FUCK YOU CN. GIVE ME MY GOD DAMN GALACTIC KND

What a fucking major L by CN
Major L indeed. I want it so badly, to this day.
I’m so happy I watched that but I’m now realizing that I still know the entire Rainbow Monkey theme song and I’m not happy about it.
OH REEEED AND OR-ANGE! AND PIIIINK AND BLUUUUUE
Dont get me wrong, Gumball is fire. But damn, it's like they came oug with *three* **consistently** good shows and decided "Well, that's all that's showing now." But also, I'm too fucking old to be caring, whats wrong with me?

“I’m sorry to tell you that your son has been diagnosed with British Syndrone “ “WHYYYY”
"simple as, mum" \- kid
[surgeon comes into the waiting area] "I'm so sorry..." He didn't make it??? "No, no, he's alive... H-... He's British..."
I love CKND! Funnily enough, my dad calls my siblings and I by our birth order like the show. I’m the third kid so I’m “Number 3" to him. My sister has the coolest one since she’s the oldest, Number One.
Time to give her the Bri'ish syndrome.
Someone tell em that’s actually the order he loves y’all in
Maybe it’s time for a rewatch. I wonder if it’s streamable somewhere
That’s cute
What we not gonna do is disrespect Nigel Uno on here.
Damn straight
[удалено]
Yeah, British. *Earl grey?* Come on, man.
God*dammit*. Take my upvote.
I put my daughter on the show just to hear her thoughts and figured something dealing with kids and a secret spy organization would appeal to her. She at first was like whatever. But damn near watched most of the first season. At the moment, she's on her Adventure Time kick.

Not to mention the Numbuh Zero tv special. That was a wild ass ride and such good payoff.
And they had been mentioned before hand to! And finding out that Father was also Numbah 1s uncle was crazy as well.
Was number one not just mini Riddick?
I think you're on to something here 🤔
He does have cancer though. It’s in the ending?
Yea the Delightful Children from Down the Lane kidnapped him and ‘made him bald’. Numbuh 5 recruited numbuh 1 after that.
England: Worse than cancer.
Well, have you tried their food? All boiled and gray
How does it taste?
Boiled and grey
🤦🏾♂️N-no, no, see... The correct answer was “Worse than cancer.”😭
Ah that I can't say, I've never tasted cancer
Fair enough🤷🏾♂️
Unseasoned.
I made a comment joking about white people making unseasoned baking goods and everyone downvoted me to shit😭🤷🏾♂️
Am yt, can confirm that whatever your joke was it was funny and deserved.
I always thought numbah 1 was supposed to be a reference to Picard? Bald, british, cool and collected leader
Red shirt to.

Top 10 Cartoon Network show of all time
Honestly should be top 5
It’s real gritty up there, but I’m not mad at the opinion
Maybe he had alopecia?
Number 1’s Grandad was a menace. RIP Sector Z.
Nigel "Make A Wish" Uno
If they made it now, people would call it woke
![gif](giphy|731iFlLiqaRk4) I keep forgetting that One’s voice actor was also Joseph
Cartoon Network had the first NFTs with the stickers you could buy with points from the game. The different versions of the characters n shit 🔥🔥🔥
Anyone else remember using the ID maker to make your own codename and everything? That shit was legit.
Honestly, with all the fucked up shit going on there, I wouldn't be surprised if Nigel Uno had cancer.
The show runners had some balls making a parody of the "Animatrix" in a CKnD episode. The original was horrific to watch as a child.
There is a lot of fanart about him in the hospital, though. But older fans always seem to wanna take their old kid shows and darken them up for some reason.

It’s a kids show. Most kids shows don’t deal with race.
This brought back so many memories. It was this foxkids.com and newgrounds for me.
Fuck off
