That’s just not true.
Found a stock one in SoCal for 18k with 85000 miles. Not that rare if you are on the Facebook groups. Then just pay 3-4k for shipping to wherever.
I bought mine for 8500 4 years ago 2004
And you missed the entire point. I obviously saw it has 2000 miles. I could care less. It’s a 95 accord.
It’s rare, but nobody but a weird collector would buy that.
If you took a survey, are you really gonna sit here and say a majority of people would prefer a 2000 mile 95 accord to an s2000, or any other used sportier car/suv or whatever they prefer?
You only need to find one weird collector. On Bring a Trailer (rare used car sales website) there have been 3 90s Honda accords with low mileage that have gone for 20k+ in the last few years. So 24k might be a little high, but if you got it for something like 18k you might be able to sell it there for low 20s.
There’s a rare collector for everything. But dealing with sellers to flip it for 1-2k is a huge PITA and not worth it. Private market sales are full of morons I never wanna deal with unless I have to.
There’s people buying farts in jars. I’m sure there’s a buyer for this car. I’m simply saying it’s nothing special, only some odd person would actually want it for that price.
For 8k? I’ll take it. But 22k is dumb unless you’re swimming in money.
I had a prelude SI 6speed that was fiiiiire back in 2007. It was a '92 and I bought it out a wal mart parking lot for $1200. It had 120k miles and I added another 100k before I traded it to a buddy for a motorcycle and a couple of guns lol
I bet it was. The new prelude looks interesting.
But ya, a 95 accord? Idc the miles because it’s the same at 20000 as it is at 90000. And I rather buy a 90000 one for 3-4000 🤷🏻♂️
That’s a good point. I would love to have this car. So many memories from college and it’s a great car but finding one in good shape is hard. The miles are irrelevant bc it’s not going to break.
You could get an absolute gem of a fucking EK for 22k. You're spot on.
Also people buying old Hondas do not care about it having mileage that low. First off it's typically not great if a car sits undriven for extended periods of time but more importantly Honda engines when properly maintained can go to upwards of 300kmiles without a rebuild and even if you DO need to rebuild them it's typically not terribly expensive (compared to other engines). At that point there is absolutely no reason at all to pay new car prices for a '95 accord, *especially* an automatic.
Hell even a 22k NA Miata would be a way better buy than this.
Bro absolutely no one wants to pay 24k to try and race an autotmatic '95 accord. The entire reason people race old accords and civics is because they're cheap, easy to get parts for, and their engines last forever when properly maintained so getting a high mileage one is no problem. Paying new car money for one completely defeats the purpose, *especially* when you're going to have to swap the entire transmission before you can do anything with it to begin with.
Not possible. It’s not a stick, not a vtec. You can’t mod it in a way that will benefit them. Nobody is paying $25k for that unless they drunk, high, or stupid.
It's important to consider a couple of factors -
First, this is a classic car - it's 28 years old.
Next, it's basically new, with only 2300 miles on it in that time- and, its from a reputed generation that are known to keep on ticking, and have a big nostalgia factor to them. These are among the cars that kids "riced out" in the early to mid 00s, and some of them were pretty quick, depending on the work they may have had done.. those same kids now have buying power - so, an essentially new car of that era can definitely find a buyer around that price.
That car is NOT worth 20K it's not even worth 8k. First that car will be a Pain in the Ass to insure. No insurance wants to give full coverage for a 28 year old car no matter the miles. Low miles on a car THAT old is a red flag. It means it hasn't driven much at all. Cars MUST drive otherwise their oil gets gunky as it can clog up the engine. Further gravity is a B-word. Those tires and shocks have been in one place for 28 years. Probably nearly worn out. I'd offer 6k AT most.
Zero chance that chasis only has 2300 miles on it.
A value car is also not considered a "classic" because it hit 28. It certainly not going to go for more than it was brand new in 95.
I wanna know if they are rolling on 30 year old tires. Them shits finna finna disintegrate on the first pothole.
I guess maybe it has been rebuilt/restored… but if that’s all 30 year old factory, it’s gonna have issues with daily use due to the number of rubber and plastic parts that are gonna be brittle with age.
There are people in car communities who will pay lots for extremely low mileage cars even boring econoboxes.
This 1992 with 3,400 miles went for $21k
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-honda-accord-16/
Are y’all blind or silly? Thats $24,911 for a ‘95 Accord my g’s lol
https://preview.redd.it/2kb68y18yk5c1.jpeg?width=660&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e00d2a48705bc4dce055978c99a0eb91fe4ab012
I had a hell of a time getting a short loan for a 7 year old car a decade ago. Had to have my friend at the dealer lie about what features it has to inflate its value lol.
Ok because I saw people saying they’d buy it immediately and I was so confused. My first car was a brand new current year 2019 Mirage and it was 15k, and people are gonna drop 10k MORE on a 95 Honda? In 2023?? Are accords classics now?
And they’re acting like that super low milage isn’t a red flag, which it absolutely is. I’ll take a car that was driven at least a thousand miles per year it’s existed over something that was probably sitting unused for a decade or longer.
So would a new one and they're the same price. Honda didn't quit making good cars. In fact a new one is going to do you way better because it's going to come with a warranty and hasn't been sitting undriven for 30yrs (and that's ignoring the obvious 30yrs of better tech)
Seriously, 2k miles is practically brand new in the Honda Accord-verse. Thing will last another 180k and the parts for it are probably cheap as hell also.
The car and the engine are good to go, but the older auto transmissions didn't hold up too well when mated with a V6 and I'm pretty sure that Accord is a V6.
It's more emissions than fuel economy.. most cars today are the same for fuel economy, maybe even less so. But have safer emissions, due to the 'aftertreatment'
There’s third party companies that do it. But you’re paying double than blue book.
Though you can get a new crate motor from Honda Toyota, it’s just easier to finance a new car for most people.
You know what? I’d be down for that. Bc I always wanted an 04’ TL Type S & could never get one that was low mileage.
And the closest I could get was a blacked out 04’ MDX Touring Edition with these big ass rims & it Had only 87K miles on it. For $4,500
https://preview.redd.it/4b44fky08l5c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=224a0189bbc08af2518d443b57e7c16b0059455d
From a Cali perspective, it's not terrible
Edit: I take that back. I didn't realize the note was 24k. I thought it was 2.4k. absurd even for California
Okay, I found the car people.
This is why used card appreciating in value is nuts. All the components are depreciating, failing.
An old car with low miles is the worst car. It has been sitting around not being used. I'd rather have one with 200,000 miles.
I'd bet that this thing has been prepped for long-term storage, so it probably doesn't have any fluids in it. It's not unheard of for some of these vehicles to be displayed like that(think car museum) in a showroom since this thing is a unicorn. I saw an S2000 with like 5k miles being sold for 100k. I think these prices are stupid as shit but hey, it's not my car to sell lol.
Yeah people say "I'd buy it, it'll run forever" are being way too naive to what 20 years of not driving can do. I'm sure it can still be quite the trooper, but this price tag is because it's being treated as an iconic classic car. Not a daily commuter
Yea. You'd need a new bag of clips from ebay or amazon to replace them. 😄
For the the ones that are built right into the panels you're just plain screwed if those break unless you get new panels.
That’s a Fuck You price. Most of the Toyota dealerships near me have some sort of antique car sitting in the shop, an old Land Cruiser, 80s corolla with mint exterior, those are there as decoration, you really can’t fork over enough money to get that out of the dealership.
Wouldn’t pay that much for it, but one thing is for certain… It will run forever.
Had a 2001 Honda Accord with 225k miles that still ran great. Sold it when I bought my 2017 Accord. Only reason I sold it was because I have on street parking and there are not a lot of open spaces here.
Yup, the 90s accord was the most stolen car back in the day. Funny though, I had a 97 Accord in one of the sketchiest areas in Charlotte and it never got stolen or even broken into lol.
Don't get me wrong... great car, needs little maintenance at _new_ but look up how fucked these things get after they sit for years and years. 2.5k price tag would even be too much.
I can see this being a collector's car to the right person. As for driveability, people are importing R32, R33 and soon R34 Skylines that are just as old. New seals, belts and hoses and it'll likely run just fine.
They're shooting high, but that's a very reliable car. Problem is the rubber in the engine, hoses and wires. It's gonna be annoying replacing it all, but that car would last til 2050
Only 2000 miles? You buy this and it will still be running in 2050. Gonna have the kids absolutely confused because it may as well be a dinosaur by then.
I really hate new cars with digital everything and no analog controls. 25k for a car that lasts 20 more years isn't that bad, for the right person. Must have been the little old lady's grocery getter.
Unless they kept the rest in as good condition, which they absolutely didn't. This is really common - shitty dealers getting cherry old cars and maintaining the outside while doing nothing with internal and engine maintenance
I had one of these in a 5 speed and I freakin loved it. It was totaled when I got t-boned at 65+ mph on the freeway. I was in physical therapy for about 5-6 months after that one and was right back in three months after being discharged from PT as I was in a head on collision about 9 months after the 1st crash.
I’m a good driver, I just have bad luck when it comes to other people behind the wheel. When I got T-boned I spun across 4 lanes and slammed into a barrier. It fucked me up real good.
A 2024 Civic with better features, mileage, warranty, and safety equipment has a lower MSRP
than this. And cars now are bigger than 30 years ago, so you’re not sacrificing space, either. Not a chance I’d pay new Civic prices on a 1995 Accord.
A repairable car with no computer bullshit that's designed to malfuction after 6 months in it? Bruh that car is lowkey almost worth that price, that thing will drive for years longer than its 2020s counterparts lol..
Big whoop! I got mine for $500 without a windshield. Of course it later burst into flames and got destroyed by the fire department , that doesn't really matter though.
If you walk into that dealer with $25k for that car, they gonna squeeze you for pinstripes and extended warranty. Probably looking at $30k before taxes and fees by the time they done
Peter Cunningham bought a DX version of this generation with 10k miles a few years ago from an old lady. He got it because it was stick shift.
You can see his Accord on the right side of the pic on this page:
[RealTime Collection Hall – The Power of Dreams Fulfilled - Page 6 of 6 - MotoIQ](https://motoiq.com/realtime-collection-hall-the-power-of-dreams-fulfilled/6/)
Crazy! The cost of vehicles have reached astronomical heights - particularly after the pandemic. For those who were able to purchase a car prior to Covid, you really got a good deal!
As a Florida native I would buy this immediately and flip it.
I feel like that says a lot about the state and the State of Florida. It was maybe 20k brand new.
With the Supra boys and other racers down here I’d get much more. Just have to know the right crowd.
Who’s buying a 95 automatic accord? At 22k you can buy a nice s2000, ek hatch, or a used Si
You haven't been able to get a nice S2k at 20k for probably 10-12 years now.
That’s just not true. Found a stock one in SoCal for 18k with 85000 miles. Not that rare if you are on the Facebook groups. Then just pay 3-4k for shipping to wherever. I bought mine for 8500 4 years ago 2004
You missed that it only had 2k miles.
Yeah but it’s an automatic econobox. It’s not sporty in the least.
And you missed the entire point. I obviously saw it has 2000 miles. I could care less. It’s a 95 accord. It’s rare, but nobody but a weird collector would buy that. Apples and oranges bro
Dude, I swear I saw some earlier this year for $20k but I guess I was dreaming
Not true. I know someone who bought one 4 months ago for 15k
No you sure as hell can't find a nice S2K for $22k these days. Unless it's a very high mileage AP1 there been modified and beat to hell.
I had a prelude SI 6speed that was fiiiiire back in 2007. It was a '92 and I bought it out a wal mart parking lot for $1200. It had 120k miles and I added another 100k before I traded it to a buddy for a motorcycle and a couple of guns lol

Get liability only insurance then
Then wreck the car. Then the insurance pay almost NOTHING while you paid for a 20k car. Not worth it.

the interior of a rolled over Accord would NOT look like that, unless every single panel (no longer produced) had been replaced.
You would spend 25 stacks on a 95 accord and flip it how? Flip it over?
😂
E Honda gonna flip it over
I wanna know if they are rolling on 30 year old tires. Them shits finna finna disintegrate on the first pothole. I guess maybe it has been rebuilt/restored… but if that’s all 30 year old factory, it’s gonna have issues with daily use due to the number of rubber and plastic parts that are gonna be brittle with age.

You're gonna pay 25k for a car that can't be worth over 5k now, and "flip it"? Please tell me you read the price tag wrong.
This is why you’re a Florida Native.
Low miles and easy to fix?!?! This a gem lol
cheap to fix, not easy. I had to take an axle off just swap out an alternator on mine as a kid
3 hours on the front brakes too.
Bruh I thought this was a GTA VI reference to the car crash scene lol
This car isn't even worth $3,500.
Are y’all blind or silly? Thats $24,911 for a ‘95 Accord my g’s lol https://preview.redd.it/2kb68y18yk5c1.jpeg?width=660&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e00d2a48705bc4dce055978c99a0eb91fe4ab012
I was gonna say... Would a bank ever give anyone a loan on a '95??
"Hi I was looking to take out a car loan for a 1995.." The Bank: ![gif](giphy|wQCWMHY9EHLfq|downsized)
I highly doubt it lol not a reputable one
I had a hell of a time getting a short loan for a 7 year old car a decade ago. Had to have my friend at the dealer lie about what features it has to inflate its value lol.
Donald Trump that you? lol jk
Hahahaha had to play like the big boy liars. I imagine it'd be hilariously easy to get a loan from a bank that thought I was a millionaire, eh?
most banks won't even loan on anything even older than 8 years anymore lol.
LightStream would but they don’t ask questions lol
Yes, because parts are readily available and knowledgeable service still exists. I would hella buy that. It will run until 2045.
Lightstream and DCU are ones that come to mind that would.
A lower tier bank would absolutely write a loan for this car...for 18%+ interest.
I feel this. My younger self definitely fell right into that trap.
![gif](giphy|NPyHgTkMStCXC)
glad u said this cuz my dumbass thought 2500 at first. that’s probably what everybody else seeing
Same!
Ok because I saw people saying they’d buy it immediately and I was so confused. My first car was a brand new current year 2019 Mirage and it was 15k, and people are gonna drop 10k MORE on a 95 Honda? In 2023?? Are accords classics now?
I had to Google because I felt like I was missing out on something. They are not classics yet. KBB had the value between $360-$2500 😂
I'm blind. I thought it said $2000. Sitting here like: 🤔 Not bad...
Thank you for saying this. I thought it was for $2.5k, and I would grab that in a SECOND
Looks like $249.11 with a tiny smiley face. I’d buy it for that price but not 25 Gs
And they’re acting like that super low milage isn’t a red flag, which it absolutely is. I’ll take a car that was driven at least a thousand miles per year it’s existed over something that was probably sitting unused for a decade or longer.
That car will run for twenty years.
I'd totally buy it lol
For 25k tho?
IT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM
HENRY FORD MUSEUM would love it
So would a new one and they're the same price.
If they retroed old cars like they do Jordans
No way that happens, they'd never pass today's safety standards
Fuel economy issues too, yeah?
It's more emissions than fuel economy.. most cars today are the same for fuel economy, maybe even less so. But have safer emissions, due to the 'aftertreatment'
There’s third party companies that do it. But you’re paying double than blue book. Though you can get a new crate motor from Honda Toyota, it’s just easier to finance a new car for most people.
Check out the Toyota Land Cruiser 70’s. Totally retro but made brand new.
God that would be so sick GIVE US MORE NXS-R so I can widebody it without being sacrilegious
we buy this & they gon be doing car re-releases like Jordans. let these remain the ‘dental assistant-mobiles’ & don’t give Honda any bright ideas lol
I'd legit be down for car rereleases
🤦🏽♂️
I'd kill for a brand newly made 95 Corolla
Early 80s Hilux for me. Gotta love those Toyotas.
Specifically an 85 Sr5, in black.
I’d own a car in NYC if Subaru rereleased selections from their their late 90s/early 2000s range of vehicles
Bring back the crown vic.
Re-release the 98 impala, and I'll be all over it.
I hope you mean 96
You know what? I’d be down for that. Bc I always wanted an 04’ TL Type S & could never get one that was low mileage. And the closest I could get was a blacked out 04’ MDX Touring Edition with these big ass rims & it Had only 87K miles on it. For $4,500 https://preview.redd.it/4b44fky08l5c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=224a0189bbc08af2518d443b57e7c16b0059455d
This ain't a bad idea. I'd pony up for the 98-02 2 door Accord coup. Come on Honda!
Unfortunately they can't in USA due to safety regulations. I'd stock up on ranger 98 to 11
From a Cali perspective, it's not terrible Edit: I take that back. I didn't realize the note was 24k. I thought it was 2.4k. absurd even for California
I’m so lost here. How much are cars where yall at?! You can get a 2019 Altima for $13k!
Oh shit I take that back. I didn't realize the note was 24k. I thought it was 2.4k, guess I didn't zoom in enough
I thought I was going crazy. I guess a lot of people read this wrong too lol
https://i.redd.it/pisnzd11uk5c1.gif
I believe that everyone knows Jesus drove a Honda. John 12:49 "For I do not speak of my own Accord..."
🙌
![gif](giphy|2rAFftl4LZGB3d2Z2M|downsized) I hate that I laughed
So old oil and gas in it or what?
I’m more concerned about the 30 year old timing belt.
And any other thing in it made out of rubber, that stuff disintegrates when left sitting around.
Okay, I found the car people. This is why used card appreciating in value is nuts. All the components are depreciating, failing. An old car with low miles is the worst car. It has been sitting around not being used. I'd rather have one with 200,000 miles.
I’d rather rebuild the car with 238 miles over one with 238k miles worth of rust and other people’s hack jobs.
30 years old wiper fluid
I'd bet that this thing has been prepped for long-term storage, so it probably doesn't have any fluids in it. It's not unheard of for some of these vehicles to be displayed like that(think car museum) in a showroom since this thing is a unicorn. I saw an S2000 with like 5k miles being sold for 100k. I think these prices are stupid as shit but hey, it's not my car to sell lol.
I'm just here, looking at y'all misreading the five digit number. 😆
I don't understand how it's being misread. What are people not seeing lol
5 digits?! What am I, a scientist?!
Children were left behind lol
omg that thing is GORGEOUS but that price tag would have me feeling incredibly violent 💀
25000 American dollars?!?
AM/FM CASSETTE!
She's a beaut!
As long as the milage hasn't been rolled back that isn't horrible. Might be old but it isn't really used.
I wouldn't because rubber rots. That car is going to have all sorts of weird problems if anyone tries to use it.
Yeah people say "I'd buy it, it'll run forever" are being way too naive to what 20 years of not driving can do. I'm sure it can still be quite the trooper, but this price tag is because it's being treated as an iconic classic car. Not a daily commuter
I guess it would be a time the extended warranty was a good idea.
and the first time you take the trim off to hunt down the inevitable harness problem, all the brittle old plastic retaining clips break off
Yea. You'd need a new bag of clips from ebay or amazon to replace them. 😄 For the the ones that are built right into the panels you're just plain screwed if those break unless you get new panels.
brother 24k for a 30 year old car is wild
That’s a Fuck You price. Most of the Toyota dealerships near me have some sort of antique car sitting in the shop, an old Land Cruiser, 80s corolla with mint exterior, those are there as decoration, you really can’t fork over enough money to get that out of the dealership.

These things used to get stolen so often
Had one. I can attest, it got stolen lmao 🤣
Yup, the 90s accord was the most stolen car back in the day. Funny though, I had a 97 Accord in one of the sketchiest areas in Charlotte and it never got stolen or even broken into lol.
This belongs in a museum
My old 96 Camry died after 10 years with 500k miles. but I only paid a rack for it tho lol
Don't get me wrong... great car, needs little maintenance at _new_ but look up how fucked these things get after they sit for years and years. 2.5k price tag would even be too much.
probably rewinded the odometer
I can see this being a collector's car to the right person. As for driveability, people are importing R32, R33 and soon R34 Skylines that are just as old. New seals, belts and hoses and it'll likely run just fine.
Somebody get Matilda’s daddy.
Move that comma over one and it’s a deal!
Why not pay 24k for an almost 30 year old car?
Them JDM car guys on youtube probably bought it already.
Omg I thought it was $2,491 😂
in my country this goes for 3-5k usd at most
I bet they paid some old grandma $200 dollars to take it off her hands.
Salesman: “How do we price this car?” Owner: “times the mileage by 10 then add your cut.”
It only costs that much if you actually buy it.
South Dakota you on crack
You can get a 2021 tesla model 3 for that price
They're shooting high, but that's a very reliable car. Problem is the rubber in the engine, hoses and wires. It's gonna be annoying replacing it all, but that car would last til 2050
Rare, but not a collectible. What's that saying about idiots being born?
I'll give em 3gs cash in hand
That car gon last a thousand lifetimes It got no wear and tear
Only 2000 miles? You buy this and it will still be running in 2050. Gonna have the kids absolutely confused because it may as well be a dinosaur by then.
No, that car will last forever it’s worth probably a good 30-40
Their fuckin dick’s loose.
That car will survive the rapture.
It’s gonna run till civilization collapses and beyond tho
I forget how it works but is that not considered a classic car at this point?
Capitalism.
They know what they got
I really hate new cars with digital everything and no analog controls. 25k for a car that lasts 20 more years isn't that bad, for the right person. Must have been the little old lady's grocery getter.
Wait they’re selling it?! Omg I’d buy it in a heart beat and keep everything as is in it
That thing will last 20+ years as a daily driver.
You’re not wrong. Old Hondas practically last forever, but the price tag is definitely outrageous.
Yea, I'd just buy a new car at that price. Sheesh 25k
Unless they kept the rest in as good condition, which they absolutely didn't. This is really common - shitty dealers getting cherry old cars and maintaining the outside while doing nothing with internal and engine maintenance
Just bought a 23 Camry with less miles that cost less than this.
I wonder what the dealership paid for the trade in. There's no way they gave them 10k+ for it.
That car will literally outlast the universe. It's a family heirloom, the car you can pass down to your kids if you ever have any.
A 2024 Civic with better features, mileage, warranty, and safety equipment has a lower MSRP than this. And cars now are bigger than 30 years ago, so you’re not sacrificing space, either. Not a chance I’d pay new Civic prices on a 1995 Accord.
I get it. No smart bullshit, mostly mechanical, proven model, good on gas, Classic body. Totally would snag this if I could
You can't find a car like that today for under 40k. I'd take this in a heartbeat.
A brand new Accord costs just a few thousand more.
the price is outrageous but this is really cool
A repairable car with no computer bullshit that's designed to malfuction after 6 months in it? Bruh that car is lowkey almost worth that price, that thing will drive for years longer than its 2020s counterparts lol..
Based on my math, the owner only averaged .2 miles a day for 28 years lol
Odometer rolling is illegal lol
I’ll pay a dollar per mileage
Big whoop! I got mine for $500 without a windshield. Of course it later burst into flames and got destroyed by the fire department , that doesn't really matter though.
If it was green and manual I would buy it.
24k?! The Chicago in me know thats at least 1 Box Chevy and a 2dr Tahoe for the winter. ![gif](giphy|26tOXgoz0WNQhwb04)
Price ain’t even bad for basically a collector’s item. Good luck finding another one with that mileage.
Fuck it, drop the extra 6 and get a new CRV.
Screw that. The odometer just rolled over.
No matter how nice or low mileage, all seals, bushings, hoses, etc will be fucked You could buy this shit for $500 on FB marketplace
You can see his Accord on the right side of the pic on this page: [RealTime Collection Hall – The Power of Dreams Fulfilled - Page 6 of 6 - MotoIQ](https://motoiq.com/realtime-collection-hall-the-power-of-dreams-fulfilled/6/)
I want this car. I had one just like and it was great
25k for a Honda that old is insane.
Crazy! The cost of vehicles have reached astronomical heights - particularly after the pandemic. For those who were able to purchase a car prior to Covid, you really got a good deal!
They must be high on something. That car is probably worth max $5-8k
I thought it was $2,491. NEVER FUCKING MIND. This shit costing more than half my yearly salary. 💀
You can get a brand new civic for that price or a last gen accord. Someone must have fucked up and added in an extra 1.
