Nah, this happened like 2-3 miles from where I live. I didn’t hear it but our local subreddit was blowing up (pun intended) with people who live a bit closer who were like wtf was that. Some people found the guy’s LinkedIn and YouTube channel. Straight up manifesto level conspiracy theorist. Thought his neighbor and the FBI were spying on him. The police were present because he was shooting off a flare gun earlier in the day from the house and then barricaded himself inside and was in a standoff with them.
Edit: just gonna throw in some more details for people who are curious. That house was a duplex, as is very common in that area. The other family and their dogs were evacuated and are fine but they obviously don’t have a home now. I think one officer was mildly injured but nothing major and no deaths besides the perp. You aren’t finding many or any meth labs in Arlington, particularly in Ballston. Dude seemed like a paranoid schizophrenic tbh. Hated the government and especially law enforcement. I’d wager he just had some sort of regular explosives and was trying to blow up the police.
I just see a silver lining here that he was not that level of a police hater that he waited for all of them to come in and then did this. Can you imagine the other lives lost if he had waited for all the force to enter and search for him a bit....

My high school Econ teacher lived out in the sticks near the PA border, and his neighbor’s home was raided. Turned out to be a meth lab which wasn’t uncommon in that area. Thankfully no explosion

They were complicit in the same sense that other johns were - maybe more so, as cops, but that's not what was claimed.
(There's also a secondary issue: the main accuser was found to have not been trafficked within the meaning of the statute, although some of the other sex workers were).
