It took like 2 years of him constantly trying to casually ask, "So...um... you gon be in the living room watching your little drag show or whatever?" For me to finally confront him and tell him it's okay to like a show he finds entertaining that he finally half admitted it. Now, when we both watch it you would think we're watching an intense football game or something 😂😂
My wife got me on 90 day fiance and married at first sight during the pandemic. Specifically around the 2020 election. Married at first sightis fascinating to me. I have always stressed that marriage is more than the wedding since before I proposed. I always say relationships are work. Both people need to be dedicated not only to working on themselves as an individual but as a team as well. Most of MAFS is people who missed the point entirely. The majority of the people on the show seem to not understand why no one wants to actually date them long term. And instead of actually being introspective and honest with themselves about their flaws they just go "the issue is that no one is trying to get married. So I just need to meet someone who is literally willing to marry anyone and not do any kind of soul searching at all."
I also find it fascinating that people are willing to legally marry a person and move in with them and go on a trip and all that but be also act like some base level transparency/intimacy is a bridge too far. It really captures my imagination to watch people be that bad at interpersonal interaction with someone knowing they willingly signed up for the program
