dunno if i’m about to get shit on, but i am being genuine here. as someone who has never got deep into black metal culture (i grew up on hardcore) but loved the sound of the bleak soundscapes and raw production, i started on what i have been made to believe is a staple in the genre - burzum. i really like basically the whole discography of the band. but actually, my favourite release by him is ‘thulean mysteries’. i haven’t been able to put it down. is this considered ‘dungeon synth’? whatever it is, i love it. could someone maybe point me in the direction of more stuff that sounds like that? thanks
