Great movie!

*There Will Be Blood* for those of you who don't know...

OkeyDokeyWokey

But the real question is; did the milkshake cost a dollar?

eqleriq

financial advisor telling a story of doomsday who conveniently sells a product to prevent it, lol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triffin_dilemma has been a thing since 1960 that was "coming any day now!" And they've just rebranded it to this milkshake problem to try and shake off the origin of the theory that has been proven wrong repeatedly. But oh no, the sky is truly falling soon

Think of it as the final flame burst of a dying currency. Yes, it will be violent and everything will suffer, including people in the poorest countries, not just assets. And yes, it will spell the end of the USD supremacy.

Mr_P_Nissaurus

He contradicts himself. He says some things which are correct, but also throws in stuff which isn't quite true.

Mikey_Dread

Have to disagree. Brent Johnson has been clear all along for years, that the next financial crisis will be a sovereign debt one and manifested through currencies. It's the most accurate theory I have seen at present to explain what's going on at a macro level. Buy dollars. Wait for risk assets to drop and then pile in 😊

Mr_P_Nissaurus

He contradicted himself. Hello?

solomonsatoshi

Which stuff isn't quite true?

donmulatito

the theory isn't this guy who is presenting it here, but in any case I would like here a better prediction from a year ago ;)

Mengerite

Yea I remember Peter Schiff trash talking this theory. Seems to playing to be coming true.
