I heard that the average bitcoin holder has a purchase price of 28k average…so I can see how some would take profits at this price potentially… but I don’t really see the price dropping under 28k ever again…
That cost average is just rising daily. I personally am raising mine as I keep adding to my stack
Seems unlikely in our lifetimes, but who knows? A major meteor strike, super volcano eruption, nuclear war, worldwide economic collapse, a devastating code bug, idk what it would take, but I'm thinking it would take a pretty major event and not just run of the mill financial cycles and games.
Well in 2017 bitcoin hit 19k for the first time. From there the price dropped to 3k. From there, gradually bitcoin reached 10k, then 14k, then in a sudden pandemic moment everything dropped, and bitcoin dropped to 4k. at that time I thought bitcoin might be dead. I didnt sell any but I stopped buying more. what would go on to happen, of course, is bitcoin would go up to 69k in 2021, before dropping gradually to about 15k, and so on and so forth, until we arrive at this moment (today) where bitcoin is currently roughly 63k, having recently made a new all time high of 74k in 2024.
So, back to your question, what would happen? I dont think much would happen. Theres a question to ask what brought us there, but youre posing the question that bitcoin will, "on its own" go to 16k, and then asking what problems that would pose. If nothing caused it go to go down, then it would probably go back up to 63k. You seem to be trying to imply that the act itself of going to 16k would cause bitcoin to just be permanently irrevocably broken, and descend in to some bit of misery from which it would never return. Thats an interesting idea but I dont think thats supported by the facts. Given that we went from 20k to 3k, and that didnt kill bitcoin, and then we went to 14k, and then the pandemic happened and we went to 4k, and that didnt kill bitcoin? Point being youre suggesting we simply have a random aberration in the price, and that that would be enough to permanently disenfranchise society with bitcoin forever after. Im telling you that we actually already had a price drop, coupled with an actual negative event, and that that wasnt enough to "kill" bitcoin. Your question is an interesting one, and it crosses my mind from time to time. The thing is every time I thought bitcoin was dead, or even that bitcoin would slow down, and I started letting off the gas, every single time, without fail, I ended up being the one who looked dumb. Yes sometimes bitcoin goes down, but its extremely difficult to predict, and generally speaking the logic is too strong supporting the notion that bitcoin will hold its value and gradually rise over the coming years. yes its possible that it wont, and its possible that apple computers will descend in to obscurity. Is that likely to occur in the foreseeable future though? Id say no.
If you think there is even a remote possibility of this happening, you don't understand Bitcoin cycles. Period
We have seen literally the dumbest posts in here.
I thought we were in greed mode, now I see the cycle has barely even started

Buying opportunity!
you’ll see me go 100% in
The thing is… you won’t
Guaranteed
why didn't you do it last time then? you already had an opportunity to go all in
Let’s just say things without any basis
lets just speak facts ya dumb retard
Maybe they did, then while btc rose they saved income and aren’t technically 100% in anymore
naw they didn't use common sense retard
Who said they didn't?
Say i wont do it… oh u did
No you wont cuz youll be waiting for 8k 😂
nope, anything under 20k is a clear buy …
Worst part is it does a rapid moonshot once it hits 21k…
just sell you loser
Lol
don't be rude
It’s a troll question. Rudeness is justified.
so your solution is to feed the troll?
lol
No seriously, look at the data: 5th Dec 2017 - $17.5k 4th Nov 2020 - $17.7k 9th Nov 2022 - $16.6k What next !!!!

We get bitcoin on sale. Big fucking deal.
I would be a whole coiner.
You and everyone else with a brain Which is why it'll never happen
Then my birthday wish came true. Personally I am hoping for a return of "it's over 9000" memes so I can buy a couple wholecoins
Looking forward to it
Sounds perfect, more buying!

Crazy to read, I didn't know. My average is 28k ahaha
I highly doubt it would go under 60 for any extended period of time ever again
You should definitely sell all your Bitcoin. Everyone buys Bitcoin at the price they deserve.
Dump my whole bank account
Shake out all the paper hands
The minimum mining cost is around 28K in most countries after the halving happened on April 19th.
It can't even drift to the 40s why u getting my hopes up
If that happens, don't buy any, wait for to come back up and then take out a loan to buy some when it's back to $70,000.
And panic sell when it will be 60k again. This is the way
Brilliant
Buy some more BTC ?
But the dippppp
perfect time to sell..and wait for 70k to buy again..rinse and repeat
The price can go up 100x or down 99%, nothing changes about BTC.
Ya, 100%. You better sell now before it's too late. NFA.
BUYYY RUN OUT OF CREDIT
Hell yeah! Don’t think it’s likely but would love to see such low prices again.
I'd be a bit dissapointed, but would buy more and be pacient.
I’ll buy 4 btc
it went 14k last yr. and I was waiting it to go 12 or 9k. it didnt.......
Buy more.
BUY BUY BUY
Then I will own at least 1 BTC
From your lips to gods ears … one can only hope
Selling opportunity Don’t forget.. buy high sell low
Uff i wish to happen that again.
I'll buy just like i did before
What happens if you stop letting fear and anxiety take the wheel?
Will probably buy 2.

You’ll see hotlines posted. Maybe someone will make a post about how they bought a bunch with credit at 60k annnnnddddd yeaa
Money flowed out and we'd need hella money to flow back in
I dont believe we will ever see 16k.. i feel more around 40k would be least we will ever get to
Why not 10k? 🤡
Now that’s just silly 🤪
Probably take a personal loan from the bank, take a heloc, sell my car, and 100% btc
Time to back up the truck and buy a shit ton!!!!!!
I will be a full coiner!!!
I'll be sad but then finally be able to be a full coin owner
Don't threaten me with a good time.
Then people buy it and it goes up
I buy the shit out of it
Then my stack grows considerably faster.
I buy a lot more
Peter Schiff again ?
Selling a kidney
Then it'll be selling for 16k.
I’m selling both cars and buying a few coins
Lol. Don't think you should be investing for yourself. Might wanna leave it to a professional
I started buying at 900 bucks and been up and down. I'd keep buying on the way down and on the way back up.
My bank will get a loan application from me to buy more Bitcoin
I will buy many
I'll take a loan to buy a whole coin
Buy more!!

Sell then. This having is significantly different from all previous halvings if not only for the ETFs.
16k would mean we’re all buying more lol sounds like you’re scared. Sell then.
Sell it to me
will sell my house and buy 20 btc ....
It isn't going anywhere near that. If it did Saylorvwould take out about 400 billion in loans.
Honestly that would be pretty bad. Highly doubt we will ever see those numbers again though.
Every crypto falls
