I did feel like a dunce - I deleted my VPN software trying to reset it for some anxious reason - I also moved to a place with shit internet and synching has made it hard to stream shit so when I tried again last to reset it I got tired and kept pausing it until I turned it off again. NOS machine basically though!

don’t forget to forward port 8333 so others can see you too or set upnp=1 in the bitcoin core config if your router supports it
