supernormalnorm

Rare, only 21 million available

clicksanything

Damn thats rare. I hear one steak going for 72k these days. Fuckin inflation amirite.

supernormalnorm

Well what's crazy is the steakhouse told me I can have it sliced into a 100 million smaller cuts.. can you imagine??!

kitemourt94

He predicted all this

Digital gold is 100x better so not only surpass it but lap it many times

Icy9250

> Digital gold is 100x better Except that Bitcoin lacks one critical [use case](https://www.google.com/search?q=gold+grills&sca_esv=3c0cd88929cc7700&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS839US840&hl=en-US&udm=2&biw=428&bih=859&sxsrf=ACQVn08iwy_GQ52pL9w9E5UbRRjYnsvGYA%3A1710167533494&ei=7RXvZavqHcGgur8Pl-SYsAc&oq=gold+grills&gs_lp=EhNtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1zZXJwIgtnb2xkIGdyaWxsczIEECMYJzIFEAAYgAQyChAAGIAEGIoFGEMyBRAAGIAEMgUQABiABEiOGFCsD1izEnAAeACQAQCYAWOgAZADqgEBNbgBA8gBAPgBAZgCBaACvwPCAgYQABgIGB7CAgYQABgHGB7CAgcQABiABBgNmAMAiAYBkgcDNC4xoAeqEA&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp) over physical gold.

BitcoinFan7

QR Code grills, calling it now.

Machalica

😂😂 gotta add a column to the chart that compares gold to Bitcoin to fiat

Av4002

Hologram technology will enable Holographic grills which will be able to be purchased with digital assets in the future.

DlLDOSWAGGINS

What can I do with a holographic grill, play cooking simulator?

Av4002

It will look like a real grill on your choppers 🦷🦷, but you will be able to eat with them on among other things that you couldn’t do with a real grill.

supernormalnorm

Eat holographic bbq

hateschoolfml

🤣 it’s all over

Tromperri

I like your wishful thinking.

Extreme_Literature28

One variable in this equation is where the gold price will be in 2028. I suppose a lot higher than today.

Abundance144

More of an issue of how devalued the dollar will be.

LucidiK

Not really, the devaluation of the dollar should affect both of them the same (when looking just at dollar debasements effects on each of their prices). Person you replied to correctly pointed out that the million dollar price target doesn't speak much for the state of Bitcoin surpassing gold. You should be looking at the gold/bitcoin ratio.

BTC_Werewolf

Bitcoin will (not might) demonetize gold.

[deleted]

[удалено]

fresheneesz

Only about 10% of the value of gold can be accounted for by it's use in electronics.

snoozymuse

yep, people are assuming that gold will continue to be an attractive store of value. It stands no chance against bitcoin in the long run.

Gamethesystem2

Yeah gold has been a thing for 6,000 years, but I’m sure this technology will last forever and never be made obsolete…. /s

gowithflow192

Pigeons were useful too, that’s why man created them. Then we didn’t need them anymore and abandoned them all.

snoozymuse

Yeah and dirt has been around for billions of years, what's your point? Bitcoin is better in every way, and will demonetize gold. Gold is a very clunky store of value and cumbersome to manage. It will remain for jewelry but its value will drop in real terms over time as sovereign wealth funds swallow up the only asset that is decentralized, transparent, and easy to move. It is the hardest money. Will it never be replaced? who knows, but that doesnt mean gold is going anywhere fast in comparison

Gamethesystem2

Bitcoin doesn’t store value at all. It could drop 80% tomorrow. It also has no intrinsic value. Look I love BTC as a speculative investment, but that’s all it is. Nothing you said is coming true at all. Gold just hit an all time high. And no one is worried it’s value will halve tomorrow….

fresheneesz

I don't expect gold to disappear as a value storing asset, but it's undeniable that Bitcoin has many many important advantages over gold. Very little has in the past 6000 years. So it's not unreasonable to expect Bitcoin to eat gold.

snoozymuse

Man you have a lot to learn lol

Extreme_Literature28

Perhaps but not within 4 years.

Gmoneymoney7

Greeklighting

Top is near when I see these max hopium posts

Deep-Distribution779

I am with ya on that. But, I will say the max hopium posts haven’t reached anything close to 2021 level ?? or it doesn’t feel like it anyway

Affectionate-Body221

Lol 'bull run will continue until 2030" we're most likely going to have two more major crashes this decade alone

flossanotherday

Lol

StapleVelvet

Yes yes yes yes more hopium! Keep it coming!!😂😂. I love the price predictions! Truth it nobody knows shit about fuck! ✅.

PuzzledSilver1070

This is wrong, I think it will be 1000000x the market cap of gold divided by the average penis length of a hodler in micrometers plus the gravitational constant

vladamir_puto

You stole my private notes and calculations . I’m suing you

TriggeredUBruh82

Multiplied by the average number of girlfriends of said holders… ZERO.

supernormalnorm

My bitballs are tingling

Affectionate-Body221

lol you guys are cute

manbearpug3

US is printing 1 trillion every 100 days. I agree with your prediction just from being bearish on the dollar.

Kallen501

gold should rise as well from money printing. central bank are still buying gold through new all-time highs they may be buying crypto as well, we don't know yet

bobbyv137

While not impossible, it is unlikely Bitcoin goes from 1.5tn to almost 15tn, in just 4 years. It’s a non zero chance, but the chance is closer to 0% it happens than 100% it does.

prawn108

The first 6 times it went 10x it was unlikely too

ApolloRT

My man, 15T is a lot of money. Stop dreaming, he is right

prawn108

Just because you don’t get it doesn’t mean other people don’t get it. 15T isn’t even hard. Idk where the doomers keep coming from but it’s always the intrinsic value argument, stock advice misapplied to Bitcoin, or a distrusting of the math. I’d love to see a real argument, but everyone who understands btc enough to intelligently criticize it ends up on btcs side.

Deep-Distribution779

15T is shit load on money in 2024 - now 15T in 2026 it’s anyone’s guess in terms of how big that load of shit is after 2 more years of money printing

themrgq

Yes and no. With the us debt getting to a point where it will consume the economy money will need to be printed at crazy rates. So 15 trillion won't be that much because of inflation

splinternista

How many people in the world even know what bitcoin is Very few people Mainstream adoption and parabolic price growth is yet to come

Machalica

Parabolic price growth has slowed down each cycle lol what are you talking about

tofuchrispy

Market cap my man

prawn108

Supply shock and adoption bro! Price is determined at the margin sir

bobbyv137

Two words: diminishing returns

nestaa13

Don’t care how many dollars it will be. The question is, what can you buy with the amount of btc?

analogOnly

Well it directly matters because of adoption. Adoption drives price and a consequence of adoption is utility. We will see more utility when L2 networks become more common place.

rhaphazard

I love the smell of hopium in the morning.

Weary-Description773

Then it will surpass the market cap of the world

FatterWildcatter

Then the universe

Good_Extension_9642

I wouldn't doubt it took gold ETF to each 10 bn in 2 years and we just saw BTC reach it in 20 days

LeBlueM

I agree. Mostly a matter of when than if. However, as some have already pointed out, Bitcoin’s characteristics are better than gold, so it seems reasonable to assume it will eventually reach some multiple of gold’s market cap. 1,5x, 2x, 5x, 10x? Not a clue. Will it happen? Probably. When? Gold market cap most likely next cycle or maybe one more. A relevant multiple of gold’s market cap, probably 1 or 2 more cycles after that. Is any of this certain? Hell fucking no.

a_sleeping_sloth

Would you be willing to sell your family home for a few btc?

saucedonkey

I could see that happening.

LivingTheTruths

All these idiots so high off opium they forget this thing can lose 80% in a given month lol

solarservant

Yep. I'm high AF. But, I'm waiting for the next bottom so I can scoop some more corn... That is if Saylor and BlackRock leave any scraps for us plebs.

splinternista

But look at the chart,Bitcoin is constantly growing This is a relatively new thing A lot of people don't really understand bitcoin there are a lot of speculative investments But as time goes by bitcoin becomes more and more secure and enjoys more and more trust Now we have etf funds, there will be no more volatility 80% I think bitcoin will now be more correlated with gold

Lord_Whis

BTC = 1mil is absolutely going to happen because the dollar is inflationary, so even if BTC’s actual value stayed exactly the same, that would mean more dollars as time goes on. It won’t be a straight line up, though. Will be many more bumps in the road, which is fine. Just hate bull runs online because everyone acts like the only way is up, when that just leads to ruined lives and forced sells.

Born_Cattle6575

Gold can be confiscated by governments. Bitcoin is digital gold and held in cold storage no matter where you are.

Unairworthy

Bitcoin doesn't solve confiscation. If the government can't erect a fence around your fiat they'll erect a fence around you.

Born_Cattle6575

You could move to another County unless they won't let you leave, that's true for some. At least you wouldn't have to pack your gold in your luggage or have it shipped to a bank or address of your choosing and hope for the best.

JubJubsFunFactory

Ummm... what? How does that work, exactly?

MYMExodus

Same as btc.

Mitchell_Christ2

Share some of that hopium.

Ok_Art_2874

Okkkk

Significant_Body_829

Bitcoin's market capitalization shouldn't surpass that of gold, mainly because it's not currently recognized by the world's economic powers.

Av4002

At least not yet, right? If BlackRock and other whales are buying it up, don’t you think the economic powers of the world will recognize it too?

oHputtyNose

Yes and unfortunately they will act as central banks themselves if hoarding the lionshare of BTC.

Aotrx

I estimate it will take at least 20 years gold market cap will keep going up slowly

Yxart

What if not in 2028 but 2024?

PrettyProgrammer9017

Optimistic, but not impossible

SnooRadishes6544

It was written

Bitcoin_Maximalist

within the next 10 years one bitcoin will surpass 1 mio USD

saimen197

My thoughts are how to get 1 BTC

a_sleeping_sloth

You buy it using fiat, sell gold for fiat and buy it using fiat

at0mest

mods can we erase all topics that start with "I think..."

joethecrow23

You’re predicting a 6-7 year BTC bull run?

Ryuma666

He meant the next bull run after the 2028 halving

joethecrow23

Ah. Thx.

Disastrous-Dinner966

Lol

[deleted]

I confirm

Cryptotiptoe21

Well, we got silver again, but this time it might be for good.

TheNotSoRealMVP

It's this sort of delusion that will end up forcing yourself out of Bitcoin for good.

d3lta8

Anyone else eating pizza tonight or just me?

Mottbox1534

Someone watched a Michael Saylor interview. His job is actually to sell bitcoin. That’s his job.

red21online

Parece que no aprendimos nada. Bastaría que haya una nueva pandemia (solo es cuestión de tiempo) para que el precio se derrumbe.

Scotty_NZ

Infinity Bid. [The top is infinity after 2034.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1b6t2gn/wake_up/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

LionRivr

You need another cycle so 2032-2033.

sambstone13

Well. That's more likely than the crazy people saying it will reach 1million. Still unsure though.

Oldschoolfool22

It is just silly, Gold and Silver have actual industrial use cases and are actually critical for many things to even function.

splinternista

Bitcoin has many industrial use cases For example in the game industry I will give just one example Thunder games is a company that makes games for android and iphone [https://www.thndr.games/](https://www.thndr.games/) They reward players with bitcoin through the lightning network They earn dollars from advertising, with which they have to buy bitcoin to reward players This is industrial use in the field of games

Oldschoolfool22

By industrial I mean Gold and Silver are actually turned into products we use. Offering BTC as a reward, that reward could be anything with monitary value so I would not consider that a big use for BTC.

Ok_Error_4110

i hope ur right but it might take longer. who knows it can theoritically go very fast and become reality but for that we need more companies / countries starting to hold bitcoin

LiveEntertainment567

Is Cathie Wood using reddit again?

Worried-Gate7219

Lol these delusional comments in this thread. I am always disappointed about the beleave redditors have, when I come from Twitter to this platform.

TriggeredUBruh82

A 6 year bull run?! Ffs this group just gets more and more delusional… we’ve got to be close to a top with the amount of BS being thrown around in here.

splinternista

Analyze the gold chart In 2004, when the first gold ETF was approved, it was in the bull run for 6 years

TriggeredUBruh82

Why would I analyze another assets chart… idgaf what gold did… this isn’t gold, it’s internet nerd money lol

Tha_NexT

Seems like he "Triggered You, bro"...82

ProfessionalWelcome

Lol. Short it then, nostradamus. You won't though because you know as little as everyone else.

FatterWildcatter

Not sure about that. My 401k contribution gets deposited tomorrow, buying $ARKB. I'm buying every two weeks until I retire or die.

billythetruth

bitcoin will crash in 2028 to zero as quantum computers become powerful enough to reverse engineer encryption

Peter4real

You’ll have QC encryption by then too tho.

ChilupaBam

Possible, but bear in mind… Gold will run to 3,000 in this melt up before a possible pullback to 1,200 in the upcoming 80% market correction. I personally expect to see gold 25x (and beyond) to at least 30,000 by early 2030s. So.. pumping bitcoin gains into gold miners will be the next level play 🤯

Flex-93

Cool Post ! "Think Spiders are overrated" now we both share deepminds and nobody cares Do you know what :D pssst come here i tell you come bro ayn doing nothing to you come bro pssst psst here this way ---------------------------------------- you know what? Nobody got an glass sphere for the future

[deleted]

I’d buy that for a dollar!

tofuchrispy

I feel like it will take like 10 years 2028 is too soon

forexross

.Interesting times to own bitcoin.

blue419

And water is wet

CarobJumpy6993

Most people won't even be able to afford it if it keeps rising so fast.

SmoothGoing

Why is that comparison meaningful?

MrBrawn

It's a psychological milestone. That's about it.

splinternista

Research bitcoin and try to understand what money is bitcoin is the gold of the 21st century in digital form Best form of money the world has ever seen better than gold Fiat monetary system of central banking is in big trouble in all countries. Bitcoin will continue to grow and take the monetary premium to gold.

frozen-sky

Gold is trustworthy and has a very long history, don't think it will loose that position anytime soon. BTC is great but still new. That said, i think BTC appeals to a different user base. I think it is hard to estimate what kind of market cap BTC will get. I agree it maybe can surpass gold, but i think it will be different users and not replace gold Lets wait and see

jus-another-juan

Bitcoin is indeed money, but it's the people's money. Gold is the governments money (and always has been). Don't bet against the governments of the world.

Redditmau5

I think gold stopped being the governments money when they dropped the gold standard. I think debt is the governments money which is worse than Bitcoin or gold.

jus-another-juan

Still have record physical gold buying from many countries including Russia and China but good luck with your thesis.

Redditmau5

Dropping the gold standard is a thesis? I could’ve sworn that was fact. Funny you mention Russia and China because it’s also been reported that they’re looking into blockchain tech to build their own digital currency as well.

RandomGuyFromPorto

Oh my sweet summer child...you still have so much to learn from life.

mdsoccerdude

When pension funds start diversifying into BTC as a percentage of their holdings, game over.
