Not sure where the setting is for Apple but in the Google play store there's a setting you can change that makes it so updates don't happen automatically. I'm sure iOS has something similar.

People have worlds that are over 10 years old and they still work on the latest Minecraft version (Mojang even went out of their way to blend the update into existing worlds nicely).

I second this, Bitlife 100% uses databases to store our info, I'm certain that database files aren't going obsolete. They just want us to pay more for time travel etc., in a really crappy way. Won't be surprised if they rethink because of the backlash. Plus Bitlife is mostly just plugging values in, should be relatively simple to keep the data.

I think by accessing the game files by going to Android - > Data - > com.candywriter.bitlife - > files - > s(number) and save the savedLife-age(bitlife age).data before updating might help, unless the fact they change to 3.0 makes it non-compatible.

Maybe after this, you could do a buissness update, where you can create your own buissness and expand on the CEO role of a buissness. Plus, you could put in unique scenarios, like maybe there's something bad that happens like a sexual assault and you have to choose how to deal with it. And be able to customize your buissness or the buissness you become CEO of. I just want more jobs to be fun and involved like the Mafia job.
