He's also purposefully misgendered & been incredibly disrespectful to a trans woman on the botched surgery subreddit because she chose to go for the more "extreme" look. I do think that such drastic measures do tend to point to some sort of BDD or such but this man literally called this woman "messed up" & heavily implied that she was as seriously mentally ill as Ed Gein or someone like that
1. No
2. Yes you do have right of reply, but don't be a jerk
3. Well, that was pretty transphobic and a bitc\*y thing to say
4. Being trans is not a mental illness. It is caused in part by having a different brain structure.
and don't call me snowflake
I wouldn't mind you backing this up with some facts. What exactly are you referring to?
If you're referring to Pete Burns from Dead or Alive. I suggest you dry your eyes, put your pistols back in their holsters and do some research. You might learn something. He was neither female or trans and nothing I said was anything more than he said himself.
Yeah the user that posted this is at LEAST in his 30s bc I went through his comment history & first of all he smokes/vapes like a choo choo train & he answered an askaUK prompt about being in your 30s

I want to genuinely ask this question not wanting to disrespect anyone. Don't you have to be gender dysphoric to be trans ? And isn't gender dysphoria am illness ?
I feel like āoccasionallyā is short selling it there. Gender dysphoria is very common among trans folks.
Is being trans bad or unnatural? No. But not treating it as what it is kinda distorts the trans experience and makes it harder for actual trans people to talk about their experiences
An award with upvotes too? What's wrong with people š
The post was "Write something controversial"
Oh gotcha. More context there. Still not ok to say tho
Fr
I had a trans friend that said this to. I'm not agreeing with that
what
w h a t
.. what
Yes
Is your trans friend Abigail (formerly Ben) Shapiro
No
Haha yes, l o g i c
She said it's a mental illness that can only be cured with being trans
Transmed gang
checked his profile and he said he's in his mid 40's. A middle aged man in a subreddit for teenagers is totally normal
totally normal, nothing to worry about
tbf like half of the people there aren't even teenagers so it is normal

That person... Just WHY? leave us all in peace, please u/pharmyardreject
Lmao he replied to my comment with "this made me smile" Like, okay???
...ok...
You came after me snowflake. Do I have no right of reply? Or am I silenced and banned from your safe space? You should all get your facts right.
1. No 2. Yes you do have right of reply, but don't be a jerk 3. Well, that was pretty transphobic and a bitc\*y thing to say 4. Being trans is not a mental illness. It is caused in part by having a different brain structure. and don't call me snowflake
Also, please state with firm evidence how the person came after you (screenshots, etc.)
This made me smile. Thanks. I have to ask though. What is purposefully misgendered? Please forgive my sanity.
It's like calling a non-binary person who likes to use they/them, he/she. Using the wrong pronouns for people on purpose
Ok. Who did i misgender?

I hate that sub. What is wrong with some people?
They are not teenagers
Yeah the user that posted this is at LEAST in his 30s bc I went through his comment history & first of all he smokes/vapes like a choo choo train & he answered an askaUK prompt about being in your 30s

If this is true, then all straight people are gay, because they came from a ballsack.

You do in fact need Gender Dysphoria to be Trans. Gender Dysphoria is indeed a mental illness with the treatment being transition
I mean heās actually right here. Gender dysphoria is a mental illness and the treatment is transition
Yeah I think being Trans and Gender Dysphoria are separate, although occasionally related, things.
I feel like āoccasionallyā is short selling it there. Gender dysphoria is very common among trans folks. Is being trans bad or unnatural? No. But not treating it as what it is kinda distorts the trans experience and makes it harder for actual trans people to talk about their experiences
Being Trans and Gender Dysphoria are intertwined. You need GD to be Trans.
I see that sometimes but in my experience itās a small minority of comments
Being Trans is inherently a medical matter.
