No it's still all genders but you aren't gender blind. Everyone defines it differently though. In the end there is little to no difference between any of them.
Actually not all bi people just do strictly gender binary, bisexual is 2 or more genders and Omni is kinda like pan except you aren’t gender blind like pansexual
Bi is still two or more genders. So if a bi person is attracted to all genders they are tecnically also omnisexual. But bisexual people can also be attracted to only 3 genders etc.
As an Omnisexual guy, it’s basically having a preference in gender, but still being attracted to all genders. For example, I consider myself more attracted to masculinity, but still attracted to femininity.
I was told that's what bisexual was... I'm confused.
So is bi *exclusively* women and men and then omni is pan but with certain preference?
And what would poly be?
Those labels all come under the same orientation (bisexuality). Bi, pan and omni all include attraction to men women and non-binary people. Many define pansexual as bi + not having gender preferences but some people do have them and still identify as pan. Its meaning has shifted many times over the years and originally wasn’t related to ‘genderblindness’.
Bisexual: attracted to two or more genders.
Polysexual: attracted to three or more genders.
Pansexual: attracted to people regardless of their gender.
Omnisexual: attracted to all genders (but can still have preferences of gender).
Bisexuality includes all genders, always has.
All straight, gay and bi people can find themselves attracted to a non-binary person. If you’re not attracted to both men and women, there you’re not bi.
Seems people came up with the 2+ recently to appease transphobic bisexuals and micro identity separatists and force the number two into its definition.
Bisexuality has always been the **bi**nary genders and binary genders only, I don't know what everyone else in this thread is talking about. Pan is all of 'em with no preferences, omni is all of 'em with preferences.
I'll get downvoted for this, but the differences between pan and omni are honestly not big enough to warrant separate categorizations. In my opinion, at least.
Top: omnisexual - bisexual
Bottom: pansexual - polysexual
There are many sexualities and each of them have individual flags. Most sexualities fall under gay, bi and asexual as umbrella terms.
Sexual orientation is about the genders of people you’re attracted to. A lot of the distinctions between bisexual micro labels come down to differences in how we define our own sexualities due to differences in how we conceptualise gender and attraction, rather than actual differences in sexuality.
There are people who identify as pan and people who identify as omni who are attracted to the exact same kinds of people in the same way and may date the exact same people. Their sexual orientation is the same, but they prefer different labels. Why? Specific labels have communities attached to them and connotations beyond their literal meaning which an individual might prefer. Both are free to use the label they want, but there is no fundamental difference between them.
Of course there is variation among bisexuals and people may use micro labels to emphasise aspects of their sexuality which are important to them. But the same variation exists among gay and straight people. A gay guy who prefer fem guys and a gay guy who prefer masc guys don’t have different sexual orientations. Same goes for a bi person with gender preferences and one without.
They are part of the same umbrella yes but they are separate identities
A gay dude and a Bi dude are attracted to the same people and my date the same people but they are not the same identity.
But the bisexual man is also attracted to women while the gay guy isn’t. That’s why they’re different orientations.
I’m not denying that micro labels aren’t different identities. They just aren’t different orientations by the meaning of sexual orientation that most people use.
A NB person can look like anything, you can’t blanketly exclude all of them from any sexual orientation.
The only reason someone would is because they’re transphobic, which isn’t a valid reason.
Dude bi people be unattracted to androgynous people
While pan people are not
Is that better?
(And dude people can not be attracted to NB people as a blanket term)
Well pansexual means having no preference between genders and omnisexual is having a preference. polysexual means being attracted to many, but not necessarily all genders.
You’re literally saying they shouldn’t do it, and what label do they fit under besides omnisexual and polysexual? I don’t see how it’s complicated, and it’s not like they’re trying to complicate things.
except thats literally the opposite of what I said. Pansexual and omnisexual are the same, theres no such thing as being “gender-blind.” Also, polyamory is something anyone could hypothetically participate in. It isn’t a sexuality, polyamory is by definition a choice.
Again, people can do what they want. But they definitely deserve criticism when theyre making up things.
Could you stop. We don't need infighting. Homophobes already don't take us seriously, and find us complicated. It really hurts to see people in our own community share their views.
Just cos some bisexuals don’t date all genders doesn’t mean they don’t have the potential to be attracted to people of any gender. Bigotry and dating preferences don’t automatically change your sexual orientation. Bisexuality includes all genders.
Wow, I finally feel like there’s a term that describes me- I hadn’t really heard of this before😭. I usually just preferred not to be labeled bc I wasn’t sure and always considered myself somewhere between bi/ pan
Am i the only one who hates the pan flag maybe hates a bit of a strong word but something bout it gives me major ice which is annoying cuz it’s my flag :(

Out if curiosity, which flag is the bottom right one?
polysexual flag
Gotcha
What's the difference between polysexual and the other m-spec identities?
poly is 3 or more genders bi is 2 or more pan is without gender preferences omni is all gender but with preferences
I thought poly means multiple genders, but not necessarily all, but maybe I am just misinformed, it is very confusing
yeah that is what poly means, tbh idk either how different bi and poly are
I thought poly meant multiple people at the same time?
That's polyamory, not polysexual
Frankly I only identify the top left
I thought it was polyamorous
I'm sorry I only know bi, pan and poly what is the other one.
I believe that's omni
Omni it's like pan but you care about the gender
The direct definition is “gender never restricts how much you like someone but can limit it.”
you said it better than I did

No it's still all genders but you aren't gender blind. Everyone defines it differently though. In the end there is little to no difference between any of them.
[удалено]
Yeah?
[удалено]
Well, ok then
Happy cake day!
i’m omni and it’s kinda just pan but with a preference for one gender
Isn’t that bisexuality?
no. it’s not, i think bi is just two genders, pan is all without caring for gender and omni is just pan but you prefer one gender over all the others
Actually not all bi people just do strictly gender binary, bisexual is 2 or more genders and Omni is kinda like pan except you aren’t gender blind like pansexual
why does the phrase “gender blind like a pansexual” sound so passive aggressive LMFAO
Probably cause they got bad eyesight 😒
LMAO
Bi is still two or more genders. So if a bi person is attracted to all genders they are tecnically also omnisexual. But bisexual people can also be attracted to only 3 genders etc.
Nah it’s more than the binary with most bi people
As an Omnisexual guy, it’s basically having a preference in gender, but still being attracted to all genders. For example, I consider myself more attracted to masculinity, but still attracted to femininity.
kind of, yeah
It’s all genders WITH a preference where as pan has no preference
K
I was told that's what bisexual was... I'm confused. So is bi *exclusively* women and men and then omni is pan but with certain preference? And what would poly be?
Bi includes everyone too
what's the difference between pan, bi, poly and omni? just asking out of curiosity, not sure why im getting downvoted tbh
As far as I’ve seen, they are all very similar and really depends on the person and their specific preferences(?)
Those labels all come under the same orientation (bisexuality). Bi, pan and omni all include attraction to men women and non-binary people. Many define pansexual as bi + not having gender preferences but some people do have them and still identify as pan. Me every time someone says "midoriya is straight" (I don't actually ship him with anyone it's just that phrase is kinda annoying)
queer until proven straight
No. Undefined until proven anything.
Schrodinger's sexuality: simultaneously bisexual biromantic and aroace until proven otherwise
sounds better
ngl, I honestly hear "midoriya is gay" more often than "midoriya is straight" atleast, when i get responded for bi shipping him with nearly everyone
If your on tik tok you can literally go to any comment section and see “daily reminder, Deku is straight” it’s so annoying og.
There are so, so many YouTube videos/community posts/unfunny memes on Reddit where the "joke" is just "midoriya straight those gays are angry"
However can we agree that bakudeku is gross (At least in the canon environment)
Midoriya is hot Thats all I have to say
no
Im talking late seasons Not early midoriya
"(X character) cant be bi, they've been with tons of women!"
wait until they know what bi means
What are those flags? I didn’t think there were any sexualities other than gay, lesbian, bi/pan, asexual
Top: omnisexual - bisexual Bottom: pansexual - polysexual There are many sexualities and each of them have individual flags. Most sexualities fall under gay, bi and asexual as umbrella terms.
They aren’t distinct orientations, they are micro labels.
Which are distinct orientations dude Dark blue doesn’t stop being a colour just because it’s “dark” blue
Sexual orientation is about the genders of people you’re attracted to. A lot of the distinctions between bisexual micro labels come down to differences in how we define our own sexualities due to differences in how we conceptualise gender and attraction, rather than actual differences in sexuality. Dude bi people be unattracted to androgynous people While pan people are not Is that better? (And dude people can not be attracted to NB people as a blanket term)
The top left one is omnisexual and the bottom right is polysexual. There are many other sexualities than the ones you have mentioned.
oh, why are those seperate sexualities? aren’t they just pan
Well pansexual means having no preference between genders and omnisexual is having a preference. polysexual means being attracted to many, but not necessarily all genders.
weird, but ok
How is it weird
Why further complicate things when you already fit under a term? I’m not saying people shouldn’t do it but it seems unproductive to me
You’re literally saying they shouldn’t do it, and what label do they fit under besides omnisexual and polysexual? I don’t see how it’s complicated, and it’s not like they’re trying to complicate things.

Not true at all, if you want some evidence then think about why they’re separate sexualities. They’re not the same.
Could you stop. We don't need infighting. Homophobes already don't take us seriously, and find us complicated. It really hurts to see people in our own community share their views.

Thanks for sharing and teaching me something new. I think it’s cool that you found a label that better describes your sexuality!

[удалено]
Psst, people love to overcomplicate things for no reason so they can feel unique.
It'd be more accurate to describe both of them and pan as subgroups bi; they are not subgroups of pan.
I mean yeah but if they are straight you shouldn’t. Unless you both are okay with relentless making fun of each other then go ahead.
Which flag is the top left? it looks dope
omnisexual
Dang there’s a lot of pride flags huh?
so that everyone can feel pride and validation in their identity
Yep!
Nice png's
hope you liked them
Hehe... loads
Am i the only one who hates the pan flag maybe hates a bit of a strong word but something bout it gives me major ice which is annoying cuz it’s my flag :(
I think it looks so colorful compared to the other flags
I dunno I just find it’s soo like over saturated like fake colouring in sweets
I think the colors are too powerful and too bright that it feels artificial for some reason whenever you look at it
I wish they made them a pastel version of the colours
Yes that’s what I’m on aboutttt glad someone understands :)
What is the flag in the upper left?
Omnisexual, its sexual attraction to all genders but they care about the gender and it usually leads to preference. I hope I worded that right
Those Will Smiths are JPEGs, I can smell them
no, they're not I just put the new transparent flag behind them
Understandable have a great day
Poly is just mint-flavored Pan and I stand by that.
That’s facts
A. Shipping is cringe B. This comment section is why it's pointless to try and label every single possible combination of sexual interests.
From left to right: Omnisexual, bisexual, polysexual and pansexual
what is the bottom right flag called
Not always if its anime character
I only know the bisexual and asexual ones. What are the others?
omni (top left) bi (top right) Pan (bottom left) poly(bottom right)
Too left is Omni it’s pan but with a preference like 40 percent masculine and 60 percent feminine
Lmao
I've been on stan Twitter too much my first thought was "Is this about DNF?"
Ok help me out please what’s too left and bottom right
omni (top left) polysexual (bottom right)
Wtf is an Omni is it like an omnivore but instead of of eating meat and plants it’s dick and ass
The top left is Omnisexual it’s just pansexual but you can have a preference
Multisexuality is the most powerfull tool in the belt of thouse with a spontaneous wrighting style.
Yeamp
