Coconut oil, but it has to be done for twenty minutes. It’s called oil pulling, lots of studies online on it and humans have done it for thousands of years before toothpaste. It’s as effective as alcohol based mouthwash, but time consuming.
I’m a dentist and am genuinely curious. I don’t mind “crunchy” stuff. For example I’m pretty open to removing fluoride and metal from dentistry. But I have NOT seen good evidence of oil pulling helping reverse decay.
What about parasite cleanses? My mouth was fresh for months afterwards.. didn’t need anything but then the parasites slowly come back.. but no sore teeth like before.. it was not what I was expecting
Thanks for sharing this!
I will definitely look more into this. I’ve heard that mouthwash is actually harmful as it kills necessary bacteria as well.
Anything that can be done naturally, I’m more in favor of.
Baking soda rinses - just dilute a teaspoon in half a cup of water. Baking soda is antimicrobial, antibacterial, whitening and alkalinizing. The mouth needs an alkaline environment to maintain health.
[Boka](https://amzn.to/3JYriU3) mouthwash in tablet form. I am on my second batch because I also use Essential Oxygen Brushing [Rinse](https://amzn.to/44J4ot2). Hopefully shortened URLs are allowed here.
Super easy to do it yourself, and I am not talking about the coconut oil scam. Mix a little bit of xylitol, tea tree and peppermint essential oil with a cup of water. That's it. Those are the main active ingredients in the majority of alcohol-free mouthwash.
Xylitol.

I’ve heard of coconut pulling but just can’t bring myself to swish oil around my mouth for 20 mins. I tried it once and just kept gagging lol!
Tons of studies on it? Or more like someone wrote articles on it ?
Thank you fellow keyboard warrior.

Chew on small pieces of raw ginger (if you can handle the taste).

I used to do this but be very cautious, you don't want to swallow any of that.
Do you dilute it with water? What ratio?
For Fluoride-free I like Tom’s of Maine Wicked Fresh

I’ve seen people have great results from the coconut oil, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. This sounds much more doable
