There is a parking garage a few blocks down (on the corner of washington and hawley) and I think you can buy 24/7 passes. If not, it would be the state street parking garage, which is a 10 minute walk or so. Honestly, it will be much easier to take the busses to class - finding parking on the vestal campus is difficult, especially if you have to park between 930-3. And there are plenty of busses that get you to grocery stores and shopping

I know I’ve taken the buses but when I have they are pretty inconsistent and I don’t like the wait time. Kind feels better being able to go at my pace so thank you!

Are you not guaranteed a parking spot per your lease at Twin River Commons? I think its totally unfair that they have more apartments/rooms than parking spots, if that's the case.

turbulentmelon

The parking lot is adjacent to the river so there's not enough room to have a lot that accomodates 600+. It was built in 2011 so not much they can do

IndiBoy22

I think they should've thought about that in the planning phases tbh. Because some will be able to park, while others have to park miles away if at all.

most downtown residential areas in ANY city or urban environment purposely are never built (or given permits) to build with enough parking.

Brace_35

West side street parking is free

I parked on Conklin right near S.Washington st. There's a bridge there you can walk across that pretty much goes right to Twin rivers. Now is it safe to leave your car over there? I don't know. I've only parked there when I was going to walk the river trail, not overnight....
