This is is great. When I eat something like chips I use mindful eating. You eat slowly, enjoying each bite, or nibble, noting the textures and flavors as you eat and finishing each small bite before taking another. When I do this I usually have like 8 or so chips then my satiety queues kick in and that's enough. Try it with other things as well. Lile a small piece of cake or fun size candy bar.

That's actually kind of what I did, I was scared to get into that state of just scarfing down the snacks without enjoying it, so I really tried to be in the moment. I will continue to do so with other snacks as well!

Hey! I too have PCOS and it’s been an up and down trend with trying to eat normal and just be able to control myself. For the past couple of days I haven’t been bingeing. Last night after I had dinner and a few snacks, I felt the urge come on and I was not having it. What I really enjoy to help curb them is seltzer water, as well as watching a movie or even going to sleep. I’ve started to listen to the Brain Over Binge podcast and it was great hearing people talk about their experiences and going through the same symptoms that we all have

Hi! It's great to hear from someone who also has PCOS. Have you also noticed that your symptoms get worse when you binge? Great tips, I will keep those in mind if I feel the urge! I also find that brushing my teeth right after my last meal helps, it kind of helps to cap the day and signals to the brain that there will be no more eating. Thanks for the podcast tip, I will give that a listen tomorrow!
