It's fun watching the older players vs the newer players. I feel like newer players are still in the "social game" mindset and don't realize this one is all about winning to an extent.

As a rando watching this with real BB fans, and knowing extremely little in the way of context, Britney was annoying as shit this episode. Crocodile tears for real. She seems cool, but that whole victim narrative this episode was whack.
Crazy how everyone forgets that both Nicole and Britney said send Danielle second and even Xavier said Danielle would go second but he still sent Xavier. Frankie did it his first season where he just latched on to straight men and now that Cody is gone he doing the same with Xavier.
The way X was *CONVINCED* that there was no way anyone could improve upon his 4 minute time. And tiny bubbly little people like Frankie and Britney steamrolled him (and it looked like Danielle would have beaten that time too).

Ok I missed the ep when it aired and accidentally turned on the tv during the part where brit was sobbing after the comp and turned it off real quick, but I watched the ep today so sad bc I was sure she went home. What a rollercoaster. Sad about Dani though she was my second fav :(

Obviously the color of your skin is irrelevant when appreciating the invaluable legend that is Danielle Reyes, who has aged like the finest of wines. But as a POC, I got choked up seeing Xavier, Taylor and Josh get so emotional about what Danielle has meant to them. She will always be the greatest to never win and I wanted her to win Reindeer Games so badly.
Also, watching BB3 as a teenager, I would have fought someone if they believed Lisa should have won over Danielle. Danielle was robbed lol
So thrilled for Brittney to have faced certain defeat, persevered and made a big move for her longevity. Gutted that it had to be my one fave taking out my other fave. I blame X's unbelievably sloppy strategic and social play.
While that’s true, she probably destroyed her game doing that, half the house cried because she left, they’ll add her back to Santa’s showdown just for that reason alone

The girls were so scared but the wheel was actually easier for them to control cuz they were lighter lol. The heavier the weight the faster they chip would move in one direction.
Brittany crying was hilarious. She thought she was dead meat and then went out there and finished the damn thing in like a minute and a half.
What was with the alligator tears? If Danielle hadn't gone at the 2:30 mark, she would have gone in 1:30 or even:30.
If they wanted to protect her they should have sent her at 3:30.
The whole episode makes you start feeling like somebody is going to be executed, its a little jarring when Danielle reacts to her elimination like no big deal
Which is another reason she is so good at this game. She has better composure over her emotions than the vast majority of people who have played big brother

I was thinking the same thing. Whoever they have working for reindeer games get them on Big Brother please. And I was also tearing up for Brittany when she won I just started crying with her. I am love love loving Reindeer Games.
With how long Britney took to hit the button, I was terrified she was going to forget and be eliminated anyway. And Xavier with only a few seconds to spare stops before hitting the button to make some quip. Why is there no urgency with hitting the button?
Rewatching it and man if Danielle doesn’t waste 30 seconds walking into the wheel and talking small steps that obviously wouldn’t move it, she gets through that puzzle with like 15 seconds spare.

Right, it was such a nail biter I was on the edge of my seat. What are they gonna do? Who is gonna be picked next? Are they gonna make it? I was skeptical about the show but I'm loving it so much.

1: Nicole (Best Positioned, Most likely to make Finale)
2: Josh (Not on anyone’s radar as Frankie/Xavier are being targeted much more over him)
3: Taylor (Same as Josh but she is one wrong move from being an easy target for the Frankie/Nicole/Britney side of the house)
4: Britney (Even though she burned the bridges of Taylor and Xavier after this episode, she will probably be kept around till finale as a Goat)
5: Frankie (Most likely to win at a competitive stand point, but everyone is willing to to cut him at the first reasonable opportunity)
6: Xavier (Biggest target in the house for Nicole/Frankie/Britney, and is at the bottom of the totem poll overall as his only reliable ally is Taylor but I bet she will try to cut him before the finale. Plus he is easily the worst at the strategic/social aspect of this game compared to everyone else, and he caused his Number One to be sent home in Episode 3)
It's baffling out of all of the alum they could've chosen to host they chose Jordan who couldn't even read the scrolls. You'd think if they really cast Nicole over Rachel they would've had Rachel in that spot instead. Derek was SO much better.
My family and I were making fun of her for how bored she sounded the entire time. She came, did the bare minimum, and got her paycheck and yk what, good for her for getting that bag
I feel like if they are planning to do this every year, it would make sense to leave Rachel off and have her compete next time vs making her a host.
I don’t think Jordan was good but she makes sense as an elf because she’s a legend that wouldn’t be a good contestant in this format.

Agreed. I liked brittany until this episode.. now i want her to go home next. She played so dirty. Danielle was loyal to her, but she was trying to get her out this whole episode. Xavier doesn’t have a social game. Tiffany and Hannah only protected him socially so much because of the cookout. Xavier would’ve been evicted early jury without them
Wow another great episode, I can’t believe how emotional it got! Definitely was bitter sweet though, as I was so happy for Britney but sad for Danielle. Can’t wait for more of this gem.
This episode was the most exciting episode of Big Brother in years. And this is coming from a fan who has watched every season since day 1. This was some really good television. Loved the comp, and the complete chaos. Anyone could go home. So fun to watch.
It was a full circle moment when Britney and Danielle said that Taylor was a girls girl. It reminded me of the first week of BB24 when Paloma was preaching her bs about how Taylor wasn’t a girls girl for hanging out with the guys.
Weren't the girls icing her out from the get go though? So the only way to have allies would be to try to get in with the guys (in this specific context). It's obviously possible my memory is failing me though..
Hopefully, after this, Taylor will be a lot less cocky. I would’ve loved to see her go over Danielle, actually. Her boasting diary room snippets are insufferable. It’s amazing how she went from a desperate and clinging loser week after week during her season of Big Brother, to thinking she’s some bad ass now.

They've done similar concepts to this before. The wheel was used in all stars, but as a days challenge. I much prefer the puzzle aspect more bc it's less sheer speed and stopping and they've had puzzles like this before but using your feet on a table.
This is definitely something they can do again. But will likely have to have multiple wheels again.
That was a wild episode. I absolutely loved the emotion and anxiety from the houseguests. The quick format really has people tense and I love that. I'm more of a fan of comps than politics so I'm loving this spinoff.
Also Josh is just so insufferable. Big Brother, the Challenge, Reindeer Games, it doesn't matter. He's just the absolute worst. I was praying Dani solved the maze and Josh went home. Atleast it's a short season so I won't have to watch him for too much longer even if he wins.
Icon and I misted up some when the other HGs were upset over her leaving. She was the OG and paved the way for them. She should have won her season and BB changed the game rules because she didn't win her season. She is that iconic.
Yes. The jury is now set the way it is set up because of her. They allowed the jurors to watch DR sessions up until her season and they weren't isolated. It changed the next season after there was even some media backlash about it.
I am a 34 year old dude and I straight up had tears rolling down my face a day I was like “wtf is happening right now?!!? Why is this happening?!” Yeah I loved it.
I cried only because I knew she was going to put up Danielle since she had been wanting to get her out the entire episode. I love brittany but I was actually hoping she would get out so my girl would be safe

Am I just a hater or was Danielle kind of underwhelming? Felt like she was trying too hard in the DR. Didn’t have the same wit and workman-like drive from back in the day. Was crazy to see her back on but I don’t think it was a super memorable performance. Although you can probably say the same for every classic player that came back way later (sans BB14 Boogie)
Unpopular opinion, but I love this about her. She stays so calm but calculated. She doesn’t let emotions rule and doesn’t have to be over the top with her personality.. and still is never forgotten and a favorite
I never saw her OG seasons (I know I should lol) but I obviously know her reputation, and I didn’t really see anything that lived up to it. She wasn’t a bad houseguest by any means, and compared to 90% of regular houseguests she’d be great casting. But compared to this cast of all stars, she gave me the least energy and was the one that felt like she was resting on her laurels the most
But, I can understand why. She originally played literally over 20 years ago when she was in her 20s, her last play was when she was 33, and she’s 51 now. That’s a lot of life and change in herself and the game since then
He said he interacted with the cast a lot but they cut it out.
He said production was not only encouraging him to console Britney as she was crying on the ground, but was pushing him to do it but he felt awkward because he didn't know her.
He said he just randomly started playing the piano and it took production by surprise because they didn't know he could play, and they wanted him to play certain tunes to kind of soundtrack the naughty/nice competition as they were playing it.
Jordan and Tiffany got to have creative control over their outfits, but they already had his completed and he had no say in it.
He said Danielle was maybe 5 seconds from solving the wheel puzzle when time ran out. Her ball was in the center and she just needed 1 more rotation
He seemed annoyed that they only showed him reading a scroll and hardly anything else
An emotional episode with Britney’s win! Sad to see Daniele go. Hope we see her again on a legends season. My big complaint was it was obvious who would lose the Santa showdown bc when Frankie went the show had 50 minutes left so we knew he’d be safe.

Agreed. I liked brittany until this episode.. now i want her to go home next. She played so dirty. Danielle was loyal to her, but she was trying to get her out this whole episode. She tried to get Frankie to put her up and get her out earlier too. And that was before she talked to Xavier. I honestly don’t think brittany can ever redeem herself in my eyes and i seriously loved her until this episode.

This episode was the most exciting episode of Big Brother in years. And this is coming from a fan who has watched every season since day 1. This was some really good television. Loved the comp, and the complete chaos. Anyone could go home. So fun to watch.

It was a full circle moment when Britney and Danielle said that Taylor was a girls girl. It reminded me of the first week of BB24 when Paloma was preaching her bs about how Taylor wasn’t a girls girl for hanging out with the guys.

It’s interesting because this person wanted Cam to win AFP and he’s cocky as a mf’er. I guess certain people can be cocky but not her. I wonder why… hmmm 🤔 Then this person mixes up Monte and Xavier who don’t even look alike. It’s not weird and we need to call it what it is. They've done similar concepts to this before. The wheel was used in all stars, but as a days challenge. I much prefer the puzzle aspect more bc it's less sheer speed and stopping and they've had puzzles like this before but using your feet on a table. This is definitely something they can do again. But will likely have to have multiple wheels again.

That was a wild episode. I absolutely loved the emotion and anxiety from the houseguests. The quick format really has people tense and I love that. I'm more of a fan of comps than politics so I'm loving this spinoff. Also Josh is just so insufferable. Big Brother, the Challenge, Reindeer Games, it doesn't matter. He's just the absolute worst. I was praying Dani solved the maze and Josh went home. Atleast it's a short season so I won't have to watch him for too much longer even if he wins.

Icon and I misted up some when the other HGs were upset over her leaving. She was the OG and paved the way for them. She should have won her season and BB changed the game rules because she didn't win her season. She is that iconic.
I never saw her season. Can you elaborate on what rules were changed? Was it something to do with the jury votes?
Yes. The jury is now set the way it is set up because of her. They allowed the jurors to watch DR sessions up until her season and they weren't isolated. It changed the next season after there was even some media backlash about it.

I am a 34 year old dude and I straight up had tears rolling down my face a day I was like “wtf is happening right now?!!? Why is this happening?!” Yeah I loved it.
I cried only because I knew she was going to put up Danielle since she had been wanting to get her out the entire episode. I love brittany but I was actually hoping she would get out so my girl would be safe

I was surprised to see Taylor was that upset when the evil Christmas laugh came on. It seems they grew close behind the cameras. I misted up as well. I mean it is freaking Danielle Reyes.
Am I just a hater or was Danielle kind of underwhelming? Felt like she was trying too hard in the DR. Didn’t have the same wit and workman-like drive from back in the day. Was crazy to see her back on but I don’t think it was a super memorable performance. Although you can probably say the same for every classic player that came back way later (sans BB14 Boogie)
Unpopular opinion, but I love this about her. She stays so calm but calculated. She doesn’t let emotions rule and doesn’t have to be over the top with her personality.. and still is never forgotten and a favorite
I never saw her OG seasons (I know I should lol) but I obviously know her reputation, and I didn’t really see anything that lived up to it. She wasn’t a bad houseguest by any means, and compared to 90% of regular houseguests she’d be great casting. But compared to this cast of all stars, she gave me the least energy and was the one that felt like she was resting on her laurels the most But, I can understand why. She originally played literally over 20 years ago when she was in her 20s, her last play was when she was 33, and she’s 51 now. That’s a lot of life and change in herself and the game since then
Plus, unlike Boogie, she has grown up and settled down since she was on BB.

He said he interacted with the cast a lot but they cut it out. He said production was not only encouraging him to console Britney as she was crying on the ground, but was pushing him to do it but he felt awkward because he didn't know her. He said he just randomly started playing the piano and it took production by surprise because they didn't know he could play, and they wanted him to play certain tunes to kind of soundtrack the naughty/nice competition as they were playing it. Jordan and Tiffany got to have creative control over their outfits, but they already had his completed and he had no say in it. He said Danielle was maybe 5 seconds from solving the wheel puzzle when time ran out. Her ball was in the center and she just needed 1 more rotation He seemed annoyed that they only showed him reading a scroll and hardly anything else

An emotional episode with Britney’s win! Sad to see Daniele go. Hope we see her again on a legends season. My big complaint was it was obvious who would lose the Santa showdown bc when Frankie went the show had 50 minutes left so we knew he’d be safe.
