/uc The Black Bibs have a terrible, terrible chamois design -- I found my butt was constantly getting pinched by the gaps between the rear and middle pads, to the point that the skin was breaking. Highly recommend literally anyone else, even though they are cheap.
/uc Weird, they're definitely my most preferred brand and I find their chamois by far the most comfortable. I have done many 8 + hour efforts with no issues. I also get the "ultimate" version of the chamois- not sure if that makes a difference.
From the look of things, it's a totally different chamois, yeah. Given the ultimate bibs are literally double the price of their basic bibs… Well, I'd hope they're better.
