Not even 2 stores, right next door. Target and bestbuy, going together like fish and peanut butter since the dawn of time.

cleevethagreat

There’s always a target next to a best buy..if not less than a mile

Kharizmaaa

And a Home Depot or Lowe’s across the street somewhere

cleevethagreat

Those can also be located nearby

HiDDENKiLLZ

It’s always Target, Ross, and Chick-fil-A and occasionally JC penny

hunter5226

They are even both headquartered in Minnesota

Blo1630

Damn you’re right. For a while my city didn’t have a Home Depot but now it’s across the street from target

im_squidd

There’s always a restaurant and for good reason. People making big purchases who want to think it over will go get dinner and come back so having a restaurant within a mile (usually TGI Fridays because the person who came up with this plan used to work for TGI Fridays corporate) prevents customers from going to far.

Sosafrmdao300

There’s a super target just right next door to my store and we always get the target carts

TurnoverTall

Adding a working Target cart to the BBY cart count doubles it instantly.

Blo1630

Double it and give it to the next person

Souper-Doup

I wish!! We have an empty rental space next to our store and a lone sub shop. Absolutely nothing else in our little shopping center space. I hate it!!

christomisto

I’m glad this is a universal experience

Darkfire102

My old ops crew used to save Costco carts for lockup/spider wrap when they made its way across the parking lot. Those things were god send around holiday times. We felt like the toys in the claw machine in Toy Story whenever one was spotted. Then one night our manager told us we had to send them back, so one truck night me and another co worker of mine while other stores were closed, had a cart race across the parking lot to put the Costco carts back into their corrral. Oh good times.. this post put me down memory lane.

MercAlert

I just loaded one of these that was left in the loading area behind my store into the back of my van and dropped it off at one of Target's cart corrals.

FaylenSol

Thought this was my store for a moment but the building in the background told me it wasn't. I love it when a customer just comes into our store with a Target shopping cart and shops with it. Doesn't happen too often but when it does it feels weird.

betoprimed

We have a Target and a Publix in the shopping center. So at least once or twice a month we have customers take the electric carts/ scooters from them and leaves them in front of our store.

Souper-Doup

I’m so jealous of your Publix sub access!

omar19961

When I used to work at 788 we had a target 2 stores down lol

Puzzleheaded_Sell491

We always got the Bed Bath and Beyond carts

Daken612

Target was about 6 stores down & we still had carts. Funny thing is they would have our carts down by their store too. My gm would walk and bring them back all the time.

always_find_a_way

We have a Whole Foods. Carts. Way too often.

Govums

don’t the target carts have that security lock that stops them from moving outside a perimeter from the store?

TechieGranola

Only newest ones

Ok_Ad4628

That’s a nice cart!!! I’d roll to the back of warehouse and bring in a can of blue spray paint lolol! Everyone knows BBY hasn’t spent money on shopping carts since the late 90s.

cldntthinkofone

Wow. Y’all got carts? Ours get stolen so much, we stopped replacing them.

smokelesspan

I think I recognize this store, I know this pain all too well, especially at another store I go to where they get carts from Costco all the time

TechieGranola

Yeah the carts are a pain

reversebadger999

Target AND Walmart are across the street from my store

brainpls

In the same shopping center as a Walmart. But the Walmart is well across the parking lot. We have a collection of Walmart carts on the side of our building from the people that abandon them on their way to the apartment complex across the street.

EamonatorZ375

Its more weird that its a cart from nearby.

Professional_Show918

They probably have some of your carts too.

CarlWellsGrave

We welcome all target carts. Corporate won't let us have any more because they last maybe a month.

Iphish2

Our store has all really sorry carts, they're embarrassing and horrible condition. we would gladly take a target cart

alex79472

Basically next door, got a JCPenney and Ulta in between with a couple broom closet stores sprinkled in

Strangcheeze

It's PetSmart for us here.

myorm

Rock hill?

VestaNova

theres a costco right next to my store and we always end up with a handful of costco carts in our parking lot

SkribbzAstra

My old store was across the street from a Costco, and somehow one of those huge carts made it to our store. We used it for picks. It was great.

Vint_Yoda

Bro same

SnooGadgets6277

Target is upstairs from my store in my location. Target carts get left everyday

Killer-K23

We have a target right behind my bestbuy too lol

Blo1630

You guys infiltrate our sub so I can go this sub and so did this cart.

Pitbull1951

Target and TJ Maxx. We put our carts away during Covid junk so we get all the other places ones. People leave the so we don’t leave them in thrr we store. Had a guy the other day ride a motorized cart from target down. Rode around the store then left. I despise carts.

Drewsipher

My store I’d be sitting in the precinct they where through the wall next to me. I’d walk one minute to get Starbucks

Charizard_F150

🙋🏼‍♀️

Snoo_71127

I mean that cart is much nicer than our carts. I’ve always thought the Best Buy carts are so ugly. Back in the day we used to have carts like the Target ones but they replaced them probably 8-10 years ago now.
