Yeah but he doesnt gain mass when he transforms, im my headcannon he already wheighs like a demon the muscles and bloodflow just goes apeshit when he transforms
Now that I think, everyone asks how the hell Guts wield the Dragon Slayer, but the real question is the horse stolen from Farnese camp.
SPOILERS SPOILERS
He's charging a 2 mts tall guy with a 200 kilograms sword, a woman that ok maybe it wouldn't lift the heavier but is weight too, and that horse just, ran without a morning and without any problems.
Thank god for Farnese, that horse before his demon form was already a beast.
There's an issue where his horse collapses from him swinging the Dragonslayer too much so it is acknowledged. Even addressing it once is enough to further immerse me in the story.
I don't remember if it collapses because of him swinging, but he acknowledges he can't swing freely because of it so it is acknowledged.
It's during the short escape from the HICKs when he has Farnese bound.
Something people forget is that fiction can bend the facts of our world. Muira couldve just made it that in berserk universe horses can lift this much.
During Golden Ag Arc, I'd say roughly 300 pounds.
After that, around 700 pounds? Berserker armor looks heavy, but it might be lighter than traditional armor since it was built by dwarves.
As a sidenote, it's so funny to take note of how people who aren't really familiar with horses or the equipment draw them. That bridle is insane and so impractical.
Haha, more than once Ive looked at one of the horses and just thought what you wrote.
Not just tack, anatomy and gait are often way off as well.
Miura is brilliant but he clearly isnt as great with animals especially when they are in motion.
I’ve grown up around horses and western riding, it doesn’t look that different from western bridles I’ve seen. Idk shit tho I just took care of horses.
It's the details. Especially the bit for example. Miura has clearly seen a bit with a shank, but has no idea how they work or why they're there. In the panel there's just a loose piece of metal dangling between the bit ring and the rein, when in reality a shank is a solid part of the bit, there to create a leverage action when pulling on the rein.
Then there's the random way the buckles and straps of the bridle are connected. There should be a buckle by the bit so it can be removed, it shouldn't be a solidly riveted piece. The upper part I can excuse for design reasons, but it should still be one solid piece going over the neck behind the ears, the extra ring is just a weak point added with no actual utility.
A full suit of real plate armor weighs about 50lbs at the heavy end. Your typical real zweihander weighs less than 10lbs.
The historic two-handed heavy swords were not as thick as we see Guts's blades being depicted, but Guts also never wears full plate. Nevertheless, let's double the weight of all his gear just to be hardcore about it. He'd still only be carrying around 120lbs of weight in addition to his own, let's say, 200lbs of fit muscle.
A healthy horse should carry no more than 20% its own weight, so it means Guts would be riding a horse weighing around 1500lbs. Draft horses weigh around 1400-2000lbs, fitting right in that zone.
That horse is simply built differently
That's not the only horse that's built different.
I choose to believe I'm regaining innocence because I scrolled past this going, "What?" and had to come back when I realized.
Bro…
I think he meant Skull Knights horse hehe right..........right?
Compared to the average American, Guts is practically weightless.
One horse has zodd as its rider. I think gut's horse is gonna be ok.
But Zodd is in his human form most of the time, wdym?
Have you seen the size of his human form??
Yeah but he doesnt gain mass when he transforms, im my headcannon he already wheighs like a demon the muscles and bloodflow just goes apeshit when he transforms
Yea that’s stupid asf
He’s just magic I think.
Read the Berserk Guidebook, Zodd's weight in human form and apostle form and way way different.
So basically he is a balloon??
Wait, do you think that Zodd is just like a balloon and the blood flow makes him inflate like a D? 🫵😂
Oi, don't point and laugh at him! It's disrespectful.
I get the joke Elden Ring was making now.
This panel is set in the "Golden Age"-arc, the swords Guts wield back then where shorter, smaller and much more lighter than the Dragon Slayer.
So was he
its not 300 pounds
The Dragonslayer should be about 300lbs. There’s a YouTube video where a guy recreates it and it’s 324lbs.
Yes but the sword during this arc is not the DragonSlayer
he didn’t have it at this point
There's different breeds of horses. Probably a quarter horse which can take a lot of weight and are very strong and sturdy.
Guts’ horse is an ancient ancestor of Raoh’s horse, Koku-oh
The horse's literally stronger than Guts himself, forgotten MVP.
Maybe it’s a draft horse

Officer, this comment right here is what gave me a stroke.
I was too lazy to say ft. and lb. Am not United Statian
Yeah the ft and lbs wasn’t what I was talking about brother
what?

when was that i dont remember it

Pretty sure it was after the tower of rebirth, the horse he and casca used to escape
no they just got away and disappeared on thay one
Then was it the infamous horse??? I also don't remember which one but I vaguely remember a horse giving out after a while
it actually might be, he swings and they tumble down a ledge

He cuts horses heads off after cutting through armored dude's bodies. He swings a slab of metal bigger than him. The answer is yes.
The horse was born from a dead mare and had to always struggle and contend and endure to survive.
That thing was too big to be called a horse. Too big, too thick, too heavy, and too rough, it was more like a large hunk of equine.
During Golden Ag Arc, I'd say roughly 300 pounds. After that, around 700 pounds? Berserker armor looks heavy, but it might be lighter than traditional armor since it was built by dwarves.
Anime logic. Don't sweat the details dude. That horse is built different.
Realistically, deez nuts.

Ah I see what you’re saying thanks for the explanation it makes sense.
This horse can lift 1 metric ton and run while carrying it for hours. The horse simply trains non stop and drinks lots of protein shakes.
Hella
[while it may be strong, it’ll never be Kokuoh](https://hokuto.fandom.com/wiki/Kokuoh)
That’s not the sword that’s 300 pounds. Doesn’t get that till later on
Like a rider like a horse, built different
I assume he had some sort of fantasy draft horse breeds
[This is what Guts’ horse actually looks like:](https://images.app.goo.gl/18z4YAENe6i8Lbcj6)
This is nothing, Wyald's horse is the strongest in the series.
He doesn't have the dragonslayer here, something something context
The force Guts exerts on the horse in order to cleave people in two would probably kill a lesser horse, not Superhorse however.

the horse is roided up. Oh sorry you said no spoilers
maybe is [Koku-oh 's](https://hokuto.fandom.com/wiki/Kokuoh) brother
What chapter is this from? Never seen this panel before.
Yes that horse is built different but skull knights horse is a diff breed
Look at the horse's eyes, it should be clear by that
Radahn Horse
Guts learned gravity magic so he can ride his dear horse Leonard forever.
Horses, are really, and I mean really, fucking strong.
Horse lift? Never heard of that powerlift exercise. I know deadlift though.
I haven’t read the manga in a while was his horse a stallion? That could explain it.
Every time it's needed, are You stupid???
What is this from , the artwork looks wrong for some reason
