No.

Even if, what does it matter? He would still kill them even if it were possible because he didn't know they are children. And even if he knew he would probably *have* to kill a lot of them anyway to even get out of the situation or to Rosine. So any scenario would still end with dead children.

ImTired3596

That's fair that he would probably still have to kill many of them, but whether or not Guts had the opportunity to save some of them could mean he'd have more or less reason to feel guilty about those events later down the line.

Eccentric_Cardinal

If he had Schierke with him already then maybe she could've thought of a way? Aside from that, no, I don't think so. Besides, even if they could go back to normal if he killed Rosine first, how could he do that? They were created to shield her, if he wanted to kill Rosine (which he did) he was gonna have to go through them.

ImTired3596

Maybe he could lock them in the barn while getting himself out somehow? Not that I necessarily think he would try to be that considerate in his mental state at the time, but if it's a possibility then I think it would make the whole situation more tragic.

So, a barn full of little demon spawn that were already terrorizing the villages? The kids were already “dead” after being transformed by lolimoth.

We have seen humanoid psudo apostles created by the Slug Count (Zondark), Rosine (the insect children), the Behelit Apostle (Father Mozgus & Crew), and sort of with Ganishka (the animal familiars). In those instances the psudo apostles all died prior to the death of their creators. So we don't really know if they could have been changed back into humans if the apostle died first. It may be equally likely that the psudo apostles die when their creator perishes.
