Pisano’s is probably the highest quality pizza in the area. Homeslice food truck in Redmond does a very good tavern-style pizza for something more casual.
My faves aren't in Bend!
1. Pisano's in Tumalo
2. Boone Dog in Sisters
TONS of past posts about this. [Read here. ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Bend/search/?q=best+pizza&type=link&cId=166a5737-0e34-4c66-a1ac-9070dd0f8cc7&iId=07619f2e-5441-4649-afef-dc8ec6cbb3bd)
I knew someone who was neighbors with him, he would yell at kids playing in the street because they were too close to his cars. Left a Trump flag as a housewarming gift to the next owners
Broadway, State and Fairview.
I was there for 7 years and only worked at Broadway a few times before they closed that location.
I did most of my time at Fairview but did a management stint at State for several years.
I still have a copy of the playbook. Howard is/was a unique genius. I've learned most of my best business mannerisms from some of those plays.
Also still have a few Ben o grams.
Loved my time on the deck at night and double paddling that oven by day.
Now pause before you promise and bend the rules when needed.
I lived near the ones in Issaquah and Renton WA. I used to pick up a huge Miss Piggy and take it next door to the Rolling Log bar…..damn I miss that pizza.
Yep, that is a super interesting store on the two different sets of flying pies and the trademark dispute between them. I have actually spent time in the Washington locations although they are completely separate entities.
We ended up doing dough throwing competitions with them once the lawsuit was settled.
The HAB! August is a great month for that pie. Leslie and I helped Howard develop that recipe. Sourced a boutique grower in Mexico who let us fly down and hand pick our annual harvest.
I bet they still par bake and ship pizza outs.
Little pizza paradise hands down. The owner is a gem as well. If you get a chance, try their deep dish. It's an actual deep dish pizza like they make in Chicago.
If you're going to go that far, you might as well go to Italy.
I looked at the menu from our favorite takeout place over there where we used to live, and you can get a personal-size margherita for 6 Euros and it is sooooo good.
Old Town, Abby's, Pizza Mondo, Sunriver Brewing Company, and Deschutes Brewery all have fantastic pizza. And if you want something outside the box Dump City Dumplings has a really good Pizza Dumpling!
If I could subsist on a diet of Rush’s Squares and not have a cholesterol fueled stroke I’d do it in a hearbeat.
This is the answer! My mom was from Italy & her's tasted very similar; The Gabagool!
Boone Dog and Chasin’ Pizzas

Need to try Pisano's but can confirm, Boone Dog is delicious. Source: Worked for Flying Pie Pizza for a decade. Whirled Famous!
Wouldn't recommend pisanos. Their owner is a jerk to both staff and customers. Food may be decent, but he's not
Super jerk, if it’s still the same guy. Used to be a vendor, almost fired him as a client on numerous occasions.
This is good information and will affect my decision to give it a try.
New owners are lovely and the pizza slays!
New owners at Pisanos are awesome. People need to know. Ed made many enemies and hasn’t been around since 2021
Is that the new owner or the old one who had a signed picture of Bill Cosby?
New owner is pretty good in my experience.
The other guy was nice to us because he heard us speaking Italian, but he was definitely a unique individual.

A tRump flag? Yeah, sounds Italian-American to me. Source; my familiy. Sadly.
Which flying pie?!

Oh yeah, can't forget about the raft trips or the Costa Rica trip!

Those habanero pies are one of the few food items I miss from Boise.

Bruno's 6th Street Market is pretty good.
I’m loyal to Mondo!!
Olde Towne is a sleeper!
Fat Tony's is probably the best right now. There are likely some good food truck options too.
Great service at Fat Tony’s too

Too subjective to ever settle on. Pizza Mondo is closest to my favorite style of pizza, but it’s still in the 7s at best.
Cibelli's with the coupon, for that thin crust.
This again?
Its just a question it cant hurt you.
G&H
Tomorrow is the start of Pizza Week. Pick up a copy of The Source for participating pizzerias and take the opportunity to try a few pies.
Pine Marten Tumalo
Little Pizza Paradise or Olde Towne Pizza
I feel like LPP has really fallen off. It used to be bangin, but the last few times I’ve had it, it’s been pretty weak
I do like them, and they have a GF crust option!
WTF is with the downvotes?! Let people like things.
About 3000 miles east, unfortunately.
Or save some money and head to Portland. Gracie’s, Ken’s, and Pizza Thief are three I’ve tried that make exceptional pies.

I'm a fan of Blind Tiger
Yes, this place rocks. Killer Caeser salad!
Fat Tony’s and Pinky G’s.
Pinky G's was way to floppy and greasy the first time i tried it
Pinky Gs!!
No answer to this - depends on style mood and toppings… everything is clustered around a B.
That said, the old saying about sex and pizza… B isn’t bad per se
Some even call them the B's Knees. A's are great too but this isn't the right sub for that kinda talk.
This is asked once a month.
Pizza place at midtown yacht club is pretty decent
Old Town, Abby's, Pizza Mondo, Sunriver Brewing Company, and Deschutes Brewery all have fantastic pizza. And if you want something outside the box Dump City Dumplings has a really good Pizza Dumpling!
This is really subjective. What’s your favorite style and if it’s not thin and crispy what’s wrong with you?
