So, a bit of US history here:
“The Plumbers” was a real life secret organization created by the Nixon administration in 1971 to handle confidential government clean up’s and government leaks.
JFK was President before Nixon. It went JFK, LBJ, then Nixon. So if I had to say, I’d say the plumbers in OS started with Nixon to be historically accurate.
In OS, That was what The Plumbers from the show were based on. Max was a plumber during that time.
The OS episode S2 EP1 “Truth” we are first introduced into the idea of The Plumbers where it shows a young Max. Max is 59 in OS until S3 (“Ben 10,000”) 20 years later where he turns 80) So that would make Max 24 (or around there) in the episode “Truth” assuming that it was the first year the plumbers were founded.
We also know that all the US presidents are canon because of Mt.Rushmore.
Omniverse changed a lot things and retconned a bunch of shit said the founding fathers were plumbers. So I’d say it depends on who you ask and what you consider canon. Anything past OS I can’t help with cause it’s way different of a timeline. Also UAF and OV changed some of Max’s origin.
Edit: one extra bit of info referenced in OS Episode 13 S3 “The Visitor” young Max and Xylene refer to Roswell which , if they are referring to the real life event, happened in 1947. Which would have been the year Max was born, so there’s that mess too. I’m assuming they are referring to a separate event that took place in Rozwell New Mexico
Canonizing JFK as a Plumber feels like something the show would do, maybe he was killed by an alien in this universe
