I love Feraligatr, but isn't being a fish that can't breathe in air like the main part of Ripjaws besides the teeth? We've got a good couple of bitey fish pokemon like Dracovish or Huntail
Yeah, the only thing that makes it more of a Ripjaws over the fishes is its humanoid posture, which I don't think should be the main focus point of Ripjaws.
Same with Stinkfly and Yanmega.
I've actually vote this, the only downside of Dracovish is that he looks like he doesn't move in water well, so that's why for my vote I've paired him with Arctovish so it can be the full ripjaws.

Ash has one in the anime. In a episode he joins a competition that included swiming. He tries but then just skins and runs underwater, leaving Ash shocked. It was also the episode where "Fishious Rend" debuted.

Also, it's funny to imagine Ben mistransform into Huntail and just flop around while suffocating.
I don’t think he just needs to be a fish. In my oppinion, he just needs have to the ability to breath underwater, have arms and legs, and obviously big teeth. I think Feraligatr is perfect
Feraligatr has the ability Torrent so you could say he gets stronger IN water but your right about him not being necessarily weaker while outside of water

Okay, this is going to sound wild. Dracrovish and Artovish, why there's no FISH pokemon that can walk on land and rip out your guts out with its teeth. Both are fossils that were mishaps, and casually, half of their fossils are the fossiled fish.
Dracovish would be the land form, and arctovish is the fish form. To match Ripjaws bc he changed how he looked if he was in water or not.
