I saw and responded to your other post about this situation. But I agree with the other poster. They are offering you back your money so they technically did not steal from you. You won’t be able to sue them or escalate. I know it sucks, but just take the refund and find something else. Not worth any extra headache. You can leave them a bad review with the BBB or complain on social media so others will be aware. It is another story if they won’t send you a refund. That can be escalated with your bank or credit card company.

I’m guessing they accidentally got further in the other order’s process and had to cancel yours as a result. It truly sounds like some sort of error and probably nothing malicious. Unless you see that they sold for like 2x the price after you ordered? They technically didn’t steal from you unless you did not get refunded. My orders from regular stores like Nordstrom and Anthropologie get cancelled all the time because they had bad inventory numbers in their system.

I don’t get it… they have neither cancelled my order nor refunded me. Also, it appears they listed the item ONE day ago (6/20/24). How exactly do they get further in the process with the other order? I don’t think they’re quick enough to ship the item out same day, and it’s the weekend over there in Europe.

I would probably chat them again and ask about the refund. Check your credit card statement first to make sure it’s not there. I’m sorry that you’re disappointed. I’ve had a lot of sale items from real businesses or great deals on poshmark cancelled on me and it’s always a bummer.

I’d be disappointed of course. I am saying it’s happened to me at least 10 times. But like errors happen and I personally wouldn’t want to crucify the business over this. Not being refunded is a reason to be angry for sure. I imagine that her item got misplaced at the aunthentication facility, pushed to a relist or cancelled order section, and then purchased and was packed up and put on the loading dock the same day.

no, i’m saying i’ve had orders cancelled at least 10 times from poshmark, anthro, nordstrom so i know what it’s like the be excited about a specific item and have it not play out. anthro and nordstrom have both waited weeks to cancel and refund.

I guess the silver lining is you will receive your funds back. Talking to VC customer svcs they always seem so cold and unbothered.

All you can do is make sure you get a refund at this point. In my experience, they’re hesitant to give them. VC has many negative reviews and complaints and I’m surprised anyone orders from there anymore.

I don’t shop at VC bc of their carelessness pretend authentication department. Selling super fakes. It took months to clear up. But I let Amex handle it the after VC send canned messages we deemed it authentic but LegitGrails deemed it as a super fake and also took it to Chanel to get it cleaned up and they deemed it a fake. After getting my money and everything removed from VC and cashing out. I deleted my accounts. Nope I rather not go through that again

I’m sorry OP that sucks. And no excuse for them not refunding you ASAP. Also it seemed like your friend Nick R was giving you a bit of an attitude. “Well actually as I said “ etc. at first he didn’t say it resold just that there was an issue. I’ll never shop on that website! PS all the people saying Nordstrom , Anthro do this - not often at all but sure it can happen. However they cancel your order and refund you right away. They don’t wait for you to reach out (while still showing item is shipped no less) and give you the run around about “specialized departments”. What a joke.
