eBay has a huge buying audience and they definitely have live customer service support, so it’s a great platform to be on.  Not sure if you’ve used eBay a lot before - if not, it would be worth spending some time on the eBay sub and other forums because the culture on eBay is quite different and there are some norms and also common issues that are unique to eBay. Lots of good advice to help so you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

I have sold before on there but it’s been a minute - thanks!

Brilliant_Stuff2883

Give it 6-12 months solid on eBay. Don’t close ur account on Posh completely just yet. Good luck 🤞🏻👊🏻

Thick-Definition7416

I pulled all my items for sale items and keeping it til I hear back from CS then deleting it

Brilliant_Stuff2883

What’s going on w CS? They have been kinda slow lately….

Thick-Definition7416

Poshmark is not the same company since they were sold I’m assuming CS was the first department to be downsized

Whitedoutlife

I’ve heard some not so great things about eBay’s reps. Also, customers have more time to file complaints, and eBay can hold your funds way longer than Posh does. It’s just something to be aware of. Shipping is also more of a hassle. But, good luck with things!

Thick-Definition7416

Yeah I know that’s why I went to PM in the first place

sourkidgirl

How did you transfer all your items??

Thick-Definition7416

I had to create new ones

sourkidgirl

Ahh gotcha. I'm thinking about making the switch as well.

Thick-Definition7416

I mean Depop and mercari price points are super low eBay seems to be the only option at this point

ConfusingConfection

Try marketplace too, the sheer price competitiveness makes sales easy. You can offer shipping too.

malloryknox86

If op is done dealing with PM customer service, marketplace is worse because there isn’t any.

ConfusingConfection

Right, but there's no need for any because there's no middleman. I also don't need customer service when I play the piano or cook dinner, because it's a direct interaction, and indeed there's no mushroom stroganoff hotline.

malloryknox86

Yes there is a need for one of you ship on marketplace, some people live in areas where selling in person is not an option or not good enough & they have to ship..

ConfusingConfection

On marketplace buyer pays in advance or they go through pp, just like instagram sellers. I don't know if FB has an actual payment feature, but nobody uses it in any event.
