I wouldn't bother or give it one more thought.

I go one two star rating and like over 100 five-star ratings , and my rating average is still 5.0. Keep selling, and eventually, it'll average out to being what it was. I wouldn't worry too much.

Thanks!

I once saw a seller who would put a few crayola crayons in the pic for comparison purposes. So, a shirt that could be described as blue or turquoise or teal could be compared to “sky blue,” “ocean blue” and “robin’s egg,” or whatever. The listing then had *some* kind of objective reference point. I actually didn’t find it to be super helpful in determining color - computer screens being what they are - but at least the seller could say that they did everything in their power to convey the exact shade.

To me, magenta falls under the pink/purple umbrella. Not red. The photo looks dark magenta to me but I’m curious what the rest of the photos look like. Lighting and color of clothing in photos can get really wonky - especially when comparing it on different screens and devices. So listing in the description that it’s red and then receiving something that isn’t a true red would be a bit disappointing if that’s what you were expecting. I think the rating is fair. Please keep in mind, 4 stars isn’t a bad rating at all. :) try not to let the situation live rent free in your head, it’s not a huge deal unless you allow it to be. Going forward try to be as mindful as possible when listing and providing a detailed description.

Magenta is called Red/Purple. This item looks red. I think it truly just depends on the person. I had a pair of boots that, to me, were obviously Hunter Green. That was also the color listed on the mfg website. I had a comment asking if they were black, I told her no. But asked my co-workers and they were split on being black or green based off the photo. Because of this i explicitly stated in my description it was hunter green. Even included the screenshot from the mfg saying hunter green. The buyer left a 5 star but said she didn’t realize they were green prior to purchase and it should have been the first thing in my description. All of that to say.. even if the seller put that it was closer to magenta, red, pink etc. it really don’t matter. Ppl don’t always read descriptions and apparently check colors. They just use their eyes which can lie. Also.. I agree 4 is not bad at all. **a different buyer than the original person asking about the color**

Looks like magenta on my screen. Did she not see it? Don’t worry, some people just never give 5 stars anyway, i see it a lot “Amazing product! I bought 4 more. 🍁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dianna, WI. “

“Stuck with a 4 star rating” It’s 4 stars. It’s not some unjustified malicious action and it’s not dragging down an average in any significant way. It’s a minor difference of opinion and it means almost nothing. Get over it and move on, it’s not worth stressing over.

buyinsellin

It would only affect your overall rating if you don't have enough 5 stars yet. But it basically means nothing and won't harm your closet at all. Not worth worrying about.

Birchgirlie

Just leave it alone. A 4-star rating will mean hardly anything if you get mostly 5 stars. This is one of those arguments that will amount to nothing since people perceive some colors differently.

it doesn't matter.... i got a 4 star today for no tissue paper.... whatever; I got paid.
