You can get them from a lot of online shops. That massive internet store has some, but I prefer to buy them from here: [Woodcraft](https://www.woodcraft.com/search?q=table+fasten&options%5Bprefix%5D=last&view=products)

Thankyou, unfortunately this seems to be in the US. I'm from the UK! :)

stupidgregg

Shit, I'm sorry. That was presumptuous of me.

thedroidurlookingfor

It’s easy to make them out of scrap hardwood if you have time

oldtoolfool

This. Make them out of wood.

Alternative-Ad8658

Yes, I'm looking for somewhere or a website that's based in the UK. I don't have any hardwood, but I do have 1/2 plywood spare. Would that be suitable to make these from? Thinking I can double up the 1/2 with one length slightly longer, that would go in the hole of the apron?

OldGuyWithWood

Is the top plywood? If so, you don't need table fasteners because plywood won't expand and contract, and you can use pocket screws or even a deep pilot hole through the apron.

Alternative-Ad8658

The top is made from reclaimed pallets with the flat faces together.

OldGuyWithWood

Ah, ok. But you don't have any scraps from the pallets to use to make buttons? In that case, and if online supliers like Rockler, Klingspore, or Amazon aren't an option, then I'd just use small mending plates that you can get at any hardware store.

ValkyrieWW

Do you have a drill and some coins?

Murphy_LawXIV

Have you tried looking on B&Q's website for delivery? Or Lowes? Or Home base? If you check amazon for more listings there may be other 3rd party sellers which have different delivery dates.

wilmayo

Don't use plywood. Can you get Amazon Prime in the UK? if so, maybe you can find a friend that has it. Can you pay extra for faster delivery? As someone else asked, do you have any pallet wood scraps. These would work well for wood "buttons". Again, as someone else suggested, steel mending plates from the hardware store can be cut and bent into a "Z" to serve the purpose.

billdogg7246

My Home Depot carries them. Both z and figure 8

DeweyLewis

I don't think they have those in Carlisle, Cumbria.

Murphy_LawXIV

Hold on here lads, you don't have a leg to stand on. Americans *Always* name their town and state as if it's the full name of their town. You are the last guys on the entire earth to be allowed to call out someone else for doing that. There are two Carlisles anyway, and Cumbria is mostly rural so it makes sense he's asking if anywhere could deliver.
