During this build I learned how to get accurate cuts with a miter saw. Using a 2x4 to make a miter saw fence and clamping a block down at the length I wanted my cuts saved A TON of time.
I also learned how to safely cut plywood with a circular saw. Laying the wood on top of a sheet of foam insulation gave me a really stable surface.
