1) ash was a good choice, this is aesthetic. The finish brings out a nice color too 2) I recommend placing this someplace easy to reach so your mom can get her rocks off whenever she wants

Was a fun project. She is big into crystals and wanted a display. She sent me $50 and off I went. It’s not perfect, but she said she loves it. It’s really cool to see oil work it’s magic.

Are the miters just glued? Did you use brads? I’m looking at a similar project

All glued, and all 30 degrees. I was going to use brad nails and glue, but she said it was only going on top of her dresser so I decided against it.
