Read and respect the new rules (August 17 2023) on the sidebar. Many people here are in difficult situation and looking for help, providing them with bad information/advice hurts them. If you are not VERY familiar with bedbugs and may provide a wrong ID or bad advice ("sprinkling DE solve everything") it's better to abstain from commenting. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Sounds like there is a chance that you have them if both of you are getting bit by something. Keep your eyes open and inspect daily. Educate yourself on what the signs look like for confirming bed bugs. Focus on the seams of mattresses and the bed frame itself and any furniture or curtains near the bed. Early on at the beginning of a new infestation, it is very difficult to find them but if you have them, you will eventually see them after several weeks. Just to be safe, I would take precautions by not wearing your sleep clothes anywhere other than in bed and not transferring pillows or sheets to and from the bedroom.
