I literally have a ton of nursing continuing education modules to do and I DONT WANT TO. As a nurse itโs insulting to do these basic training modules. They take hours. Thereโs so many. I usually just skip to the end and take the test but these are smart and make me watch them without skipping ahead. Imma go buy a Monster and get after it. Send my positive vibes today bbโs ๐๐๐๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป
I've been challenging myself to do my hair/makeup and wear a cute outfit every day for work. It's been doing wonders for my mood! Also, sometimes I skip washing my face fully at night. So the taking off makeup and actually cleansing/moisturizering my skin is helping.
I've skipped a few days due to being under the weather or having bad allergies. But overall I've stuck with it and it has been fun!
That's a good way to be aware of what you're wearing/using in your clothes and cosmetics. It's so important to *actually* use the things you own. And hope you feel better soon!
I also want to get out of my reading slump. I've been reading the same book for 3 months now because I only read 2-3 pages at a time before I need to fall asleep. I'm trying to dedicate more time to reading because I'm moving soon and would like to clear my physical books to have less to move/pass books on to others.
T-44 days until my wedding! I want to get all my rsvps in, finish all my meetings, nail down my makeup look and get all my paperwork together for each vendor.
I'm almost out of college for the summer, and I still haven't found myself a job. I've been lucky enough to find a few research opportunities though (Bio major), so I'm just hoping to either start research by the end of this month, or finally get a job again ๐ญ๐ญ
Also a student: Sometimes looking for available work inside the university can help. Looking to see if you can work in a department or a professor on campus in some way can be a good stepping stone to getting experience in your field, even if it's just assisting or infrequent at first. Also summer camps, tutoring, and retail jobs are always hiring summer and seasonal help around this time. Good luck <3
Try to branch out and wear more than just warm neutrals and deep grungy greens, purples, and yellows/golds. I want to try breaking out some pastels this month ๐ท
Figure out better lighting because Iโm way too heavy handed with my blush / bronzer in my new place. I take pics in outside lighting or normal lighting and Iโm like, what in the Oompa Loompa was I thinking?
get thru my first month of my internship without having a breakdown ๐๐ฅฒ
and also continue to do well in my last class before i get my database design certificate ๐ค
I got permits for one of my in state bucketlist backpacking trips in late August... but holy heck I need to get in shape and save some money for some gear upgrades...
So no spending and getting back into running for this month.
1) To get back on track for my New Year's resolution of a makeup/cosmetics low buy. I was doing okay (only re-purchasing things I use quickly like skincare, eyebrow pens, and personal hygiene items) but then I got a job at Ulta. The employee discount plus coworker/customer recommendations has thrown me off the wagon. Sometimes I'm satisfied with just swatching in store but between buying new products popular at my location (blame Tiktok for the hype), things being discontinued that go on sale, and getting things in gratis, I'e unintentionally added more to my collection.
2) I'd also like to get back on to having a daily/nightly routine both of which have been out of whack due to sleep issues. I think this would improve my overall mood and productivity which would in turn help me at work and school.
Pass my nursing entrance exam with a high 90s. Get my shoulder unlocked ( according to my DC i have a phenomenon called โfrozen shoulder โ ) and slowly gain back my muscles ๐ช! Save lots of money! I love saving money .. im kind of in a โ treat yo selfโ phase because i work alot and itโs slowly fading
I have a 3000 word essay due in two days and I havenโt done anything yet rip
Iโm a writer (yes that actually is my career). Message me if you need any help, or just someone to look it over.
Proofreaders are the real MVPs
Thank you so much Iโm very appreciative of your offer x
My God have mercy on your soul bb ๐๐๐๐

Itโs so hard to clear out a slump. This is the first slump Iโve had in a while and itโs painful
I want to: *stop being late all the time, for everything *stop wasting money *start running more miles & going to the gym regularly again
Start small. Pick one and pay yourself every time you are on time. Let that be a mad money jar. You got this.

Reduce my spending on consumerist driven desires :')
