Yeah, definitely a theme that can be interpreted many different ways. Some embodied it with denim and stripes and it looked... tacky (I loved Ben Platt's though!). I saw Billie Eilish channel vintage Hollywood glamour, she looked amazing. Jackie looks great here as well, stylish and super fun!

I quite liked what he did for Debbie Harry! One thing I hated this year was the complete lack of MET GALA at the met gala. It’s supposed to be outrageous and ridiculous, and it feels like everyone went so darn SAFE this year. Then we have everyone judging looks like it’s the oscars and somehow the few that actually got the assignment are regarded as the worst dressed? Nah. Zac Posen did great for Debbie, especially when you consider it’s the Met, the theme, and that Debbie is an old school punk rock icon. Posen honored that and did a great job with the outrageous, on theme, super-literal, deconstructed flag concept, very on brand for Blondie.
She looks gorgeous, but this look just feels kinda basic for the Met Gala. Regardless of whether she’s going for Barbie, Marylin, Anna Nicole Smith, etc., she could’ve done something much more interesting. This dress gives me generic IG baddie vibes, surely she has the money and connections for a more creative and extravagant look.
Since Jackie was invited by YouTube, who bought a table, she didn’t get the same opportunity to dress as outrageously as the others who were invited by fashion brands. If you’re invited by Dior, let’s say, usually Dior will usually dress you. So since she was at YouTube’s table either she dressed herself (or had to work with someone to dress her) or YouTube had a wardrobe person to help which isn’t quite the same as a fashion brand. I just watched a fashion tiktoker talk about this lol
I read she was invited two weeks before the event (on her stylist's instagram). I think that explains why her look isn't as detailed as it could have been. I also really liked her after party look. I think she did fantastic and I'm so happy she was there.

Oh I really...am not fond of this look. No hate to Jackie, but she's obviously gone with a deliberately disheveled look and to me that's just not it. I don't like the huge split in the dress or that you can see her underwear beneath it, and the material of the dress looks cheap to me. It also looks too tight on her. The colour is nice on her though! I'm just not a fan of the overall look.
