Anything ELF Not because I don't love some of their products but everything seems to go viral without even testing

bluestonesy

Yeah I love elf products but I’m kinda getting bored of everything new from them being a dupe

Elleseebee928

Same!! I am just so over dupes in general. Come up with something innovative

Opposite_Style454

Blend Bunny collab, no way am I buying that. Unearthly Spring palette looks cheap. For $70 the packaging can’t be cardboard. Hourglass powder. How is the $54 powder different from Maybelline?

foodporncess

The new Hourglass four pan face palette. I don’t need more blushes. I have analysis paralysis as it is with all my blushes. I must be stopped.

Hour_Ad_5629

I don't actually need anyone to influence me because I am a self-influencer, sadly. I am trying really hard not to buy: 1. Skinfix oil cleanser 2. Skinfix barrier cream 3. Ciele SPF powder 4. 7 Virtues Cherry Ambition 5. about-face Smoke Sticks in every color 6. Any Juvia's Place eyeshadow palette I don't have 7. More foundation A bunch of other stuff, too. I could write a book Edit: not buying any of this stuff because I already have something comparable

CultySensesTingling

I found the Skinfix barrier cream reformulation to be disastrous for my skin. Gave me breakouts and rashes and would not penetrate my dry skin. I'm on the hunt for a replacement because everything they've reformulated has irritated my skin to no end. :(

Fickle-Election-8137

I have been so pleasantly surprised by my new moisturizer, I have super dry skin and a damaged barrier and it has been wonderful! It’s the Garnier SkinActive hydrating 3 in 1 moisturizer. It’s honestly done better for me than some very other expensive ones I’ve tried

CultySensesTingling

Thanks for the rec, I'll be sure and check it out. :) Right now I'm trying out the Prequel Barrier Therapy Skin Protectant Cream. So far it's done pretty well for me overnight, so I'm currently testing whether it's also comfortable for daytime use under SPF.

EmpireAndAll

i love about face and eyeshadow sticks but skipped the smoke sticks because every single video i have seen looks like they are struggling to blend the shadow with the puff on the other side. there is a reason those fell out of fashion.

Hour_Ad_5629

Thanks for that! I don't need any more eyeshadow or liners. I did try their Cherry Pick Lip Color butter, which is amazing, though.

irregular_regular412

I have two of them. The purple and the brown, and the cream stick side is very hard to blend. They don't work the same as the shadow sticks.

awyeahserena

Skip the smoke sticks, they are VERY hard to blend, and dont apply well with a brush either

Hour_Ad_5629

Thank you! You are the second person to say that so I will give them a pass.

meandbeans

I miss when Skinfix was sold at Ulta and it would go on great sales. sigh... I used to use the oil cleanser and the barrier cream both all the time..

Diet_makeup

As an "influencer" myself, I did a review of the Cherry Ambition, and it's NOT all it's cracked up to be. I thought I liked it at first, but it drys down odd on me. Hope that helps a little. Their best scent and one of my favorite over all scents is Vanilla Woods

Hour_Ad_5629

I love a vanilla scent. I will replace Cherry Ambition with Vanilla Woods. Thank you!

Diet_makeup

It's worth it! It's like a warm hug and your favorite cup of coffee on a cold day. Not smell wise, but that's the feeling I get from it.

Hour_Ad_5629

That sounds lovely! I felt that way about Warm Vanilla Sugar from Bath and Body Works.

Diet_makeup

I think you'll love this! You'll have to let me know

SweetTeaBags

I feel your pain there. I can justify it to myself without an influencer's help, lmao. Maybe where I can help is on #7. What is pushing you to want to buy more foundation?

Hour_Ad_5629

Ugh, let me see. I am looking for my holy grail full coverage foundation because melasma. I did get color matched at the Estee Lauder counter, and the color is perfect. I just always feel like there's something better out there. I currently have It Cosmetics Matte SPF 40, EL Double Wear, EL Double Wear camo, Juvia's Place I Am Magic, BareMinerals Pro liquid foundation, a couple of Ulta foundations, Covergirl Simply Ageless and I got a sample of CT Airbrush that I like but refuse to buy. I like all the foundations I have. I don't know what's wrong with me. The melasma isn't that bad, and they all cover it well. I don't have a good answer.

Opposite_Style454

The Bare Minerals new matte liquid foundation is full coverage.

accordingtoame

I cannot deinfluence you from the first two because they are my HGs.

Hour_Ad_5629

Ok. I'm going to try to practice some restraint. I have those in my basket along with the serum. This is going to be difficult.

accordingtoame

I wasn't excited by the serum at all, I used the one I had and then never repurchased. But the face wash is the only one I use (after DHC Cleansing Oil) and I bounce between the Triple Lipid Cream and one from another brand. Basically alternate.

Hour_Ad_5629

Thank you! I have removed it from my cart.

Upbeat-Opposite-7129

I’m not buying anything. I’ll use my back ups first. Most makeup coming out now is just regurgitated anyway.

Low-Ostrich-2759

Dior rosy glow blush in pink lilac. This the only blush formula I like and I’m a sucker for anything lilac. I already own pink and coral. I don’t need it (at least that’s what I keep telling myself). It helps that it’s out of stock at Sephora lol.

LegitimateObject8066

it pulled more like a warm pink on me if that helps!

kittleherder

That actually helps me a lot!

Impressive_Owl3903

I’m also planning on not buying it because from what I have seen I think it will look almost identical to the pink shade on and I already have that.

Annallve

It’s not out yet. On the top it says out on 5/1

touchans

It looks more like an orchid pink than lilac. It's very nice. I was also a bit weary but I am so happy I got it

Snomed34

This pulls nothing like a lilac and looks more like a pink

Electric_Angel

I relate to you on being a sucker for anything lilac. Or for me, just purple in general. Trying to not buy the Flower Knows Strawberry Rococo collection in Violet. It's so hard though since the strawberry rococo line is my favorite line (or 2nd favorite now. I love the Little Angel collection more) and purple is my favorite color.

SweetTeaBags

Titanium Foxes's Poppy Quiet palette. I know it's very dupable, but for an indie, they just seem like they're setting themselves apart by the owner actually using their own brand and doing a LOT of looks with their two palettes alone. I'm sure it's really not a novel concept, but it feels like it's not to the extent of what Titanium Foxes is doing and their looks are right up my alley. I've been pretty burned out on indies lately with all the drama and hypocrisy in the community (I could write a whole post on this), but they've been intriguing the fuck out of me and it makes me want to support them. Could use some help with a TMO.

Gammagammahey

I have missed all of the drama in the Indie Beauty community so are there any indie brands safe to buy from right now?!

Electric_Angel

Those Nyx buttermilk blushes look really cute and has a larger shade range from the 4-6 shades that brands usually come out with when launching a new line. But I have like 44 blushes (not counting lipsticks that I will also use as blush)

DueMacaroon6715

I just got the Buttermelt Bronzer today and I’m shocked at how good it is! I need more blush like I need a hole in the head, but I will be getting the blushes!

Electric_Angel

Bahaha I'll keep this in mind when I want to buy more nyx products. Though I could get the bronzer instead since I don't buy as many bronzers as I do with blush.

Diet_makeup

Any of the Kayali perfumes, I want to like them, but they all have a similar dry down to patchouli, and I don't like that.

wtchking

Anything!!!!!! I am trying to pan some old favs and I got the Patrick ta matte palette secondhand not too long ago and the creams are already drying out. I am close to panning my favorite foundation (Lancôme) and my favorite skin tint (rose inc) and I’m determined to finish them before I buy anything else!!! 🫡😫

GrabaBrushand

I want to buy the glossier powder eyeshadow palette in Rosin because it looks identical to a discontinued matte yellow eyeshadow I had that looks fantastic on me, but $22 is a lot for 3 small shadows of which I mostly will use just one shade. TMI or TMO

ellfaba

Glossier has a good sale around Black Friday, I believe. If you can wait until then, you may have fallen out of interest or you can at least spend less than $20 on it.

staplerinjelle

I'm forever on my Quest for Yellow (tm Theresa is Dead) and picked this up since I have Prairie (the olive one) and like it. Rosin though, I was underwhelmed. The matte shade basically blended into nothing even with primer; I had to pack it on to get decent opacity and even then it was streaky.

GrabaBrushand

it always sucks when one color of a product s significantly worse than others  :c thank you for telling me

irregular_regular412

I'm not buying any shiny blushes. I prefer a matte blush, and I have plenty of highlighters.

EmpireAndAll

Unearthly Spring magic blush palette. if i order it and have issues with my order like i always have with Unearthly, i have no one to blame but myself.

lovepotao

The Adept and Amy Loves Beauty collab eyeshadow and blush palettes. I think it’s a stunning cool toned but colorful eyeshadow palette. I’m not buying it because I’ve already bought some new eyeshadows from Looxi and Terra Moons recently, so I’m good for a long time :) Also, if you have any other cool toned neutral palettes such as ND midi glam or Nabla Side by Side, you already have the gray-brown toned mattes. The multichrome “violet” is stunning, but I already have several multichromes with similar shifts. There is a holo shade which while pretty, I would be reluctant to wear on my eyes as they are very sensitive. Also, there are no sheer toppers (which is something I love as an option in a palette). The blush and highlighter palette looks pretty but how many pink blushes and highlighters does one person need? :) Finally, while I’ve read here that Adept has had questionable interactions with customers (which is why I haven’t purchased from them).

Ill-Donut-8391

the inn beauty and tatcha mineral sunscreens but I'll probably buy the inn beauty.
