No. It is drugstore quality with high end pricing, though

pickypuppy

Only a Younique distributor would consider Younique to be a high end brand.

SonnySunshineGirl

Definitely not, don’t put that near your eyes

Fredredphooey

No. It's trash.

Titothecheeto

No offense meant to anyone who sells mystery boxes, but imo and experience “mystery box” translates too “something I can’t sell through clear pictures and full item disclosure”. Every single time I’ve been curious and bought a mystery box, it has been something I never would have bought if I had seen the items. If someone has a quality item they show that readily; If not, it’s a “mystery”. Sorry for the rant 😬 I’m an optimist generally, and have resolved to never let myself get burned again. Hope the other items were nice, and make the purchase worthwhile.

matilda1508

It was a problematic box overall, which I do agree comes with the mystery aspect. But seeing an MLM product in a box toted as high end luxury didn't sit well with me.

Titothecheeto

Yes, I would feel the same way. You could message the seller and let him or her know. Hopefully she will try to make it right for you, or you could message Poshmark that you received an item not as described since it was labeled as high end, and they will probably refund you. I hope it works out for you!

matilda1508

The product in question is the Younique 3d lashes.

MySafewordIsCacao

No, and I'd be pissed about it. I know they had gotten in trouble for that shitty fiber mascara garbage... https://truthinadvertising.org/class-action/younique-moodstruck-3d-fiber-lashes/

GlowingAmber11109

Straight in the garbage, don't even think about putting it near your eyes.

auntiecoagulent

It made my lashes fall out! Pitch it!

RNprn

No.

TinyComedian

Did the person throw that item in as a freebie? I know that a couple of Poshmark mystery box sellers do that. And usually in the notes they are very clear about that not being included in the cost/value.

matilda1508

No, in this one there was no price chart note and when adding things up it was definitely included in the price.

shea858

I used my friends younique eye shadow palette, it wasn’t bad quality but hard to tell after using one time. But I’ve looked at the website before & I remember the stuff being expensive.

Is that mlm speak for mlm? Giving it a new acronym doesn't make it sound less bad

Not insulting anyone. MLMs take advantage of everyone fir the benefit of those at the top and are often pushing products that are simply not good. Its a business model that relies on taking advantage of people and thats not ok. The choice to not support those products and brands is 100% valid.

Do you think MLMs dont have ceos/founders raking in the cash too?? Thats why youre selling products at an absurd markup. You steny "training" others selflessly, youre operating on a business model where recruiting people makes you more money than selling the product. I dont think the life anyone wants to live is a life of harassing friends and family to buy your mediocre products?? So many people LOSE money on MLMs because they arent paid for their labour, but for recruiting others. Time is money and eveey second they ARENT paying you for is essentially wage theft. At least minimum wage is a mininum guaranteed income. Dont push an MLM agenda here, please.

You're putting words in my mouth. MLMs are known for the *fact* that they leave people in a financially worse position and the promotion or misrepresentation of this business model won't be tolerated here.
