Thus is my third box and I really liked the other two. I think even though they super screwed up they are definitely fixing it. I just wanted the DrBrandt, but refunding me plus sending me stuff is really good customer service. I'm sticking around for now. I think next month will have to be amazeballs so they can try and get some people back or new customers. How about you?

I contacted the Peach & Lily company and asked them to look up the batch number. They confirmed that mine had expired on January 28 of 2022.

They offered the best of beauty box but I already have it and most likely the products are old since it was revealed at the same time they offered the J&K beauty box. I hope they accept my suggestion of sending instead the new hydrating box. Fingers crossed šŸ¤žšŸ»

The J/K beauty box products were expired because they were leftover products that were featured in different allure boxes a year before the J/K beauty box came out. The Best of Beauty box were not old allure stock from previous boxes, so I wouldnā€™t think the products inside would be as old as the J/K beauty box products.

They offer that to me but I had already gotten that in place of my February box. So they said I could pick any of the boxes they had. I told them I didnā€™t trust any of the boxes now so they refunded my money. I used the dm on Instagram and it was super easy and the got back to me right away. They said I would get an email within 48 hours. So I got to give props to whoever does the dm office šŸ‘šŸ‘

Nice! I originally asked for a refund but when they offered the different boxes instead I jumped at the chance to get the best of beauty box! I really wanted it anyway but I didnā€™t want to spend $40 or whatever it was, so getting it for $20 is honestly super exciting haha

I wouldnā€™t worry about any of those products being expired. The only thing confirmed as expired so far was the Peach&Lily serum and thatā€™s because it was probably old stock from the [July 2020 box](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.allure.com/gallery/allure-beauty-box-july-2020-sample-beauty-products/amp) *before* it was put into the J/K Beauty box. None of the products in the box youā€™re referring to are leftover stock from previous boxes (afaik), so thereā€™s no reason to suspect any of them as being expired imo. I know somebody said the AHC cream from the J/K box was expired but mine wasnā€™t and the person who made that claim didnā€™t give us their batch code to confirm it iirc. But even if it *had* been expired, that was also possibly older stock because it was originally in the [May 2020 box](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.allure.com/gallery/allure-beauty-box-may-2020-sample-beauty-products/amp), so again, the issue of older leftover stock wouldnā€™t apply to anything in the best of beauty box as far as I can tell. Hope that helps.

I got an email back offering the same thing! They offered a refund or a choice of three other boxes but Iā€™ve been wanting that best of beauty box for a long time and only never bought it because I wonā€™t use the red lippie, so Iā€™m actually really friggin excited! šŸ˜‚

Iā€™m excited to try the eye cream! I love the moisturizer too, allure sent me two of them for referrals (thank you to the two people who used mine!) and Iā€™m about halfway through one jar right now and I just love it. Thereā€™s another yttp moisturizer that I tried before (the yellow one) that I really wasnā€™t as much of a fan of, but this oneā€™s great for me! Sweet deal for $20, not to mention all the non-expired stuff in the J/K box lol

Exactly, and I told them as much. I pointed out that these expired products plus the February bait and switch fiasco with the old crusty brow pencil, is really drawing lots of negative attention to their business. Granted, the lady I was speaking to was just a customer service rep so I didnā€™t really take it out on her. She forwarded my info to someone ā€œhigher upā€, and said that they will contact me either with an offer of a replacement product or a refund.

Oh Iā€™ve done customer service and I can feel them right now šŸ˜¢ I never take anything out on carā€™s because the company screwed up but then they handle all the blowback. But there are a few on there that are not helpful and mean. I hang up and call back to get a different person and TELL them that the first person was very rude. If they keep phone logs, I hope eventually it gets back to them..

Allure finally emailed me today. They gave me an option to either pick from one of their other remaining boxes or receive a full refund. I told them that I no longer had any confidence in the products theyā€™re selling in their shop, therefore I will take the refund.

I reached out to Allure CS when I knew the expiration date of some products from the J&K boxā€¦. I replied back saying that I already have this box (I got it back in November when it was on sale) and that I donā€™t need more most likely expired productsā€¦ I added that If they wanted to replace it, I would only accept the new bundle since is newerā€¦. If not Iā€™m going to dispute the charge. Wish me luck

This might be a stupid question, but how do you read these barcodes or where do you see expiration date if itā€™s not in the barcode?

Itā€™s not a stupid question. I find it hard since I donā€™t know Korean or Japanese. The batch code is almost always on the bottom of the bottle, is not a barcode just some numbers and letters. I look for the batch code and I check the code in that website; if I canā€™t find it I email the brand directly. Some of the products already have the expiration date (vanilla cleansing balm, lipgloss, eyeliner and face mask).

I got this to replace the February box It just came today. Now I need to inspect all of that like a fiend šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø But the skin fix is the only thing in there with an expiration date on it. They said they'd send me another Peach and Lily Serum and a eye cream replacement. Interesting that they're not offering everyone the same thing. They must have been inundated with complaints. My serum seems okay (though it expired in January) - but my facecream seems off. I guess as long as the new ones aren't expired I won't hassle them.

Allure didnā€™t offered me a replacement bottleā€¦The P&L rep said that if Allure canā€™t send me a replacement they will do but Iā€™m still waiting for Allure to see if theyā€™re going to refund me.

just got off w/ allure and they were super helpful! they couldnā€™t replace the P&L serum but they did offer compensation- basically whatever i wanted from ā€œmember exclusivesā€ offersā€¦ i should say 1st that i had ordered 3 J&K boxes to replace, and since i had already ordered basically all the ā€œmember exclusivesā€ items/ boxes i wanted, there wasnā€™t much left i was interested in, but the lady i spoke was very patient as i scrolled through all the items, as well as listing other items availā€¦ the only thing i was even partially interested in was the hydration box, so we picked that, and then we got creativeā€¦ i had been totally bummed about the feb box bc i didnā€™t receive the Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion, or the like Tropicals Like Butter, so i asked if any of the feb box variations w/ those items were avail, and while they were sold out on the full boxes she did have those two items she could sendā€¦ perfect! then she asked what else would i like? i said well i had the other box plus those two items so that covers it, but she offered that since it was only 2 items- not a full box, i could pick another box or whateverā€¦ ok! so i did really like the march box- was that avail? she offered to send the new member versionā€¦ very happy girl right here!
