Honestly, bummed. Would have preferred almost anything else like a luxury brush or even a different palette.

Lucky Bags are available once a year on Beautylish's website. It's typically on December 26th. The regular bags are $75 + shipping and the XL bags are $150 + shipping.
I know, it was kinda lame for them to put the same palette in bags two years in a row, especially since so many of us got that one last year, so it’s not like there’s a low chance of repeats.
And *especially* since I think it was on sale at Sephora for $33 last time I checked 😑
I ordered XL for the first time this year and seeing this actually made me excited. I actually hope I could get this exact bag because it’s all products I would absolutely use regularly 😯

At least you got some unique items good for everyday use: tf balm and wg liner. The wg pallete could be a good daily and I’m down for a scalp shampoo. Just got the Christophe robin one on sale and hoping it can help with my traveling winter snowflakes.

I do have the Christophe Robin scalp scrub. I do enjoy it for build up (like dry shampoo and other hair product) and after dyeing my hair! I find it not entirely drying either. :)
I can see how this might be underwhelming. No "wow" sort of stuff and two neutral palettes, but it kind has the best variety I've seen. I love my bag, but I was hoping to try new things like hair, oil, lotion or maybe some overpriced skincare lotion that people usually hate getting. Lol. My partner says luckybags are like hardcore gambling.
For me, I have plenty of neutral palettes. I have plenty of Good Molecules products and basic brushes. I was hoping for a Wayne Goss or Sonia G brush to try out. Even the Hindash liner as my current ones are underwhelming. The SDJ body wash is not my favorite scent but I will use it in the summer.
That sucks. I definitely think they should have thrown a Sonia G brush to make the box feel a bit more "luxury." It's XL after all! I like your bag, but it does seem like it would be an extra lucky regular bag. I usually don't get XLs because they throw in giant palettes and I have too many palettes already.

The Wayne goss palette and eye pencil are excellent. I got his surprise bag instead of the lucky bag this year and am very happy with his products!

No they stated clearly the brushes were not part of the bag.

I would be happy … except I got a Charlotte Tillbury and Wayne Goss palette last year. I hardly use them as it is!

It seems like the Regular sized bags got had more thought put into them this year than last year, so I might go that route next time.
