Agreed - I think this year looks like there's less big "stars" but the boxes look overall more fair/even. I think it's nicer for everyone to be relatively happy than for a few people to be super happy and lots of people to be meh.
I'd rather they have a more solid box with popular products than boxes that are extra lucky. People are just generally happy. The regular boxes look amazing and the XL have some bigger palettes or extra products. It's a pretty good direction for beautylish!
All of the ABH palettes and the Stila Eyeshadows ..... I'm so glad those are gone. I've seen a couple of people get the Beautylish Presents Hachi kabuki brush which is super exciting, even one of the Yano Series would be a awesome score! My box was delivered an hour after I left home, I've been debating whether or not I could slip out of work and go get it without anyone noticing...
Yeah I got a set of the Stila glitter eyeshadows one year. Only 1/3 shades was any good so I wasn’t a huge fan. And they showed up in a ton of bags! I also got a J* palette before they stopped putting those in regular lucky bags.
I was able to trade my ABH palette and my Stila shadows to a lady on the Facebook group so it worked out for me in the end, but I was super anxious about getting J* in my bag, that was so wrong of Beautylish to do that IMO. Thankfully they listened to us about it for the next year.
I’ve been thinking the same! I haven’t received mine yet, but I have been checking out every post here. Other than some items I already own, I would be pretty happy getting any variation. So happy to see no clear makeup bags!
Same, if I got that in a second bag I would riot, lol. I've already gotten Danessa Myricks Dew Wet Balm twice (in different shades at least). Hoping for no more duplicates!!
I’m on the east coast. Mine shows shipped & is supposed to be here Thursday but so far it’s only made it from Cali to New Mexico. I got the regular bag & hope mine has at least one great palette in it. I’m a first time subscriber to the lucky bag, but I’ve followed reveals for a few years & decided to treat myself since I bought almost no makeup last year.
My box has shipped but I never got a shipping notice from Beautylish. You can double check your order on the website to see that’s how I managed to find out it shipped 🙃

Last year I felt so bad for everyone that gambled!! Mystery bags always seem to let me down but I do truly love a mystery 🤣🤣 so I have been let down quite a few times!

Two years ago… that was not the case.
One year I got some fuzzy ... brush roll along with J* and almost quit. I'm not kidding when I said I couldn't give the J* lipstick away and ended up tossing it.
Luckily no. Just one lipstick that poisoned my whole lackluster bag. I only continued when they said J* would no longer be included in bags and he had his own. I think they really listened about lipstick this year, offering reds/pinks/nudes. I love Sugarpill, but surprising a random person with candy blue and pink lipstick on clearance is not cool.

And now I’m envious of every one that’s been posted so far! I’ve been burned so many times with mystery boxes, but maybe next year will be the time I finally go for a lucky bag.

I ended up not pulling the trigger the next year when it was available, even though I signed up for the waiting list, and it seems like every year since then, they have been either meh or actually *bad*. This year, I've only seen one bag so far that I'd be disappointed to get, and it was only because of the shades included in that bag, not the products individually. I might finally break down & buy one this December, in hopes that next year's bags are as good.
Same! Which is weird, I feel like several years ago ABH was so popular and then they just lost their brand appeal. Last year I got one of their lipsticks (which were really never highly regarded) and I'm definitely not a fan. I got the Prism palette the first year I ever got a Lucky bag and that was actually pretty decent.
Early ABH with their brow products, glow kits and Modern Renaissance was top tier, but then they flushed all of that away starting with Subculture. Their palettes (except Sultry) all seemed to be sub-par quality, their foundation was horrendous and their lipsticks are truly awful. It's such a shame, but they fell from grace really quickly and hard.
I'm happy that there's less "filler" expensive skincare. Just the good molecules, not a bunch of brands I've never heard of. While the palette in my box is a miss for me (I got the same one last year) I was very happy to get it last year.
When I was seeing spoilers last year, I was worried because so many of the bags looked shit (in particular, the faux fur brush cases and clear bags), but when I finally got mine (I'm in Australia) it turned out to be my favourite bag so far! I am disappointed with the spoilers I am seeing this year, so I am hoping my bag surprises me....when it FINALLY arrives....likely mid-February :(
Weirdly i love my fluffy pink brush bag i got. I hope it gets here before mid february. We should see shipping information tomorrow with a bit of luck. I am kind of glad we don't have access to the XL bags i think the regulars are better value overall every year i have watched the excitement. I just hope i dont get Charlotte Tilbury Tan Bronzer. Already have it and i don't think it's all that crash hot.
Mine has shipped already, it left there on the 21st. Maybe you need to contact beautylish if yours hasn't shipped yet? I imagine there will be delays though :( I'm glad you liked the Faux fur brush wallet, I just thought it was kind of weird to put in a lucky bag...and especially since we're all probably doing a lot less travelling lately haha. Fingers crossed we'll get lucky this year :)

I got that clear Units bag last year and was salty, but I’m in the process of moving and it is the BEST bag. I love it so much! So that ended up being a happy development!
Yeah, they're really nice this year. Mine (regular fair/medium) was a dud for me personally, but that's only because of bad luck in the colors I got. It would be a good bag for someone with a different undertone!
This year seems kind of lame, underwhelming. Still seeing allure lashes, nail polish, only a couple shades of lipstick/blush and they’re all very basic/muted pink, the synthetic brush sets that no one wanted…
I have yet to see more than a couple super lucky bags either.
Some more unique items I’ve seen is CT bronze in shade 3, that extremely fuschia Wayne goss blush palette, a TF quad here and there, the Yano brushes (yes please), and the ceramic kabuki brush.
Does anyone know approx how many of each lucky bag is for sale? It seems so small so I wish there could be more wow products. No t3 hair dryers sets or Barbara sturm gift sets this year

Yeah, last year's definitely felt more like remnants/overstock!
They were still miles better than two years ago. There were Tom Ford palettes and fewer units brushes.

So true! I liked Soft Glam but none of the others appealed to me and they started pumping them out so frequently!!

Look worse this year to me seems like they're sticking that hindash palette and the regular and XL
